CD related thing you regret doing the most?

For me, it was using mother's make-up without permission.

In the very early days of CDing (ages 11-15) stealing slips from wash lines, and bedroom drawers of neighbors and friend's moms and older female relatives...

Not asking more questions of more people...

When I first got to thinking about all this, I'd go to the library and read about it... College and University libraries tended to have better sources...

It was interesting to read about theories, but they were always doing statistics and cross-references, and, of course, wasting thousands of trees on "is a gay thing"? I suppose they had to do that to get grants funded... I mean, otherwise, who'd care?

What I wish I had done was just start conversations with people, anybody, and find out what they thought about this and seemingly related subjects.

When I finally did that, it really let the air out of the "worry balloon" and I stopped reading the books entirely.

Never needed them, as it turned out...

My biggest regret is staying in the closet for 40 years before coming out. I feel like I wasted so many years by hiding in the closet.

i regret all my purges. looking back on things now, i am sorry for violating the privacy of those whose clothes i wore without their knowledge. i had 4 friends that allowed me to wear their clothes. of course, when i started with my moms and sisters, i was yound and did not view it as violating their space. only after being on forums such as this and growing older did i become aware of what i did.

I regret what i did once, while in a pink fog, and new at taking photos. I wanted some who knew me to know, and sent a letter, and photos to a lawyer friend i did work for, who is an older bachelor, like me. I didn't hear from him, so, sent an apolgy, but he never responded, nor had me do work, again.

A few years back my mother had a pile of her old dresses in her room and she had planned on throwing them out or giving them to goodwill etc. Some of these dresses she had for years and I fondly remember trying them on when I was young. By the time she had planned on getting rid of them, they fit me near perfectly. Most of these dresses were 80's and early 90's fashions, some given to her by other women too. I had absolutely loved these styles. I could have helped my self to a bunch of these dresses and she would not have even noticed. Unfortunately I did not before she got rid of them. Now I scour ebay looking for retro fashions like those old dresses my mother and her friends used to wear.

Not starting to be serious at an age when I might have even looked lady like!

But I'm trying to (make up) for lost time now.

    Regrets

The only one I have is once I was done with college and moving in with my gf (now wife) I gave 75% of my cloths to goodwill, fearing she would not accept me. Boy was I wrong and wish I had those cloths back.

    I haven't done it yet!

But, I'm SURE I will! Probably in '09!
U can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect to enjoy life to the max. When u try new things, even if they r out of your comfort zone, u may experience new excitement and growth that u never expected.

Challenge yourself and pursue your passions! When your life clock runs out, you'll have few or NO REGRETS!
