I'm a lefty.

I'm right handed.
But in grade 5 I cut a finger on my right hand quite badly and had to have a cast for six weeks (or was it a bit longer?) As this was during school, I had to learn to scribble somehow with my left hand, to keep up with my work. It turned out that my writing with my left hand was neater than my writing with my right hand. But I didn't keep up practicing, so I've lost the skill long long ago.
But dominant right handed since age 6 or so.

I am right handed and right footed. Most people are right handed and left footed. Maybe that's why I keep tipping over.
Left handed.
Off topic, but note that lately 50% of the presidents are lefties:
"Six of the 12 chief executives since the end of World War II will have been left-handed: Harry Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, the elder Bush, Clinton and Obama."
Lefties are only about 10% of the general population.
chalk up another lefty. Haven't some if not most of the worlds greatest artists and philosophers been lefties? Michealangelo, Pythagoras, DaVinci, etc, or am I getting my facts srewed up again?
Remember: You are unique. Just like veryone else
I use my left hand for strength and my right for dexterity (no pun intended). I'm both trans-handed and trans-gendered!

If you saw me write, you would say neither. But right is as close as it gets.
The only reason I have a right arm is to keep me balanced properly!! Left side dominant in every category.
The only ones in our right minds!!!!!
I too am a lefty

Trans-handed and transgendered also.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Mark Twain
I was left handed and was forced to write right handed. Something’s I do left handed and some I do right. I am very sensitive, logical person.
Right-handed but I think I am able to be trained in using the right side of my brain more - God knows there isn't much in the left apart from taxation rules - I know, a pitiful condition but it does keep me employed!!!!
Maybe unrelated - I have a drawing book by Betty Edwards called "Drawing on the right side of the brain". The theory is that during our early years at school, the artistic/creative side is forced out by logic and analysis (mostly by the education system). However, if you take an adult and train them to access the right side of the brain, artistic ability returns big time (a way of looking at things). It starts as typical of a (say) 9 year old or so but it doesn't take long to develop and becomes a switch on/switch off thing. Not sure if its a right/left handed thing though.
Interesting thought (or not!)- is cding for many of us an example of a creative "switch on" from our logical, analytical lives much the same as Edwards promotes in art? What we see as a feminine personality is perhaps accessing another part of what we are? Not in everyone but just a special few!
Just a thought and probably rubbish!!
: ) are more lefty(s) going to reply to this.. i'm lefty, but how many righties don't say a thing????????
by the way, my brain doesn't control anything..lol if it did, i wouldn't make so many mistakes..
