Like Elle, I could never fit into my wife's wedding dress. Lucky you!
What a nice concession.
Shows some acceptance by your wife.
I have my own.
Work on your elegance,
and beauty will follow.
My wife might say that, but it's really a no...sometime in the future she would use it against me when her acceptance level is at a low. Anyhow, fun if it fits you and great fun with a good wig and all the makeup. But, once dressed up, where will you go? ...I bought my own used one for Halloween which was lots of fun and someday I plan to stage a trash the dress photo shoot out in public somewhere...where people may not know I'm not a real bride... just for kicks.

My first time in a wedding dress was at a thrift store. I just asked to wear it and they said yes. Its a wild feeling
My wife zipped her wedding dress up on me. I've never had a strapless dress that fit so well! I haven't worn it again since then, just not very practical for me. She wouldn't care if I did though.
I think you should wear the wedding gown and renew your vows to your wife and go on another honeymoon.
Neither of us would fit in my wife's wedding dress at this point.
Unlike many folks here, I've never had the slightest desire to wear a wedding dress.

would like to try on a couple, but no desire to buy one. no room to store it anyhow. and not practical to go shopping in, or doing housework, gardening, etc.
.
Be very careful with this, my wife a few years ago said I could try her wedding dress on also, I did and then after about 15 minutes of sitting and talking to her she suddenly told me to take it off and then said she does not want me to try it on again, ever! Since then the accepttance and intrest has seemed to slowely decline.
Wow savor the moments.

Be careful walking UP steps.
Also if wear it outside like I did, the dry cleaning is very expensive.
But OMG, the Mega fun I had with spectators, and the photo still tops my blog page.

My wife, being so loving and accepting, would have no problem if I got fitted and bought a wedding gown. She even said we could renew our vows that way. Maybe we will!!!!! OH I love her!
