    # 1 most definately it used to be # 3 but got over myself, # 2 is really a good answer but it is more than the clothes it is the makeup, the smells everything that goes with it. I do like the feel of the clothes but I feel so normal when I am dressed.

Mostly it's just a choice. I'm okay as a guy but sometimes I just like to look nice.

Didn't we do this before, once or twice?
The three on your list are all good ones, but I think we each have our unique blend of reasons; and our reasons may change over time.
I think "because I like it" is the best reason to give if asked.

    never simple

Ok, here is how I can fit into one of the three given parameters: I just recently found this femininity that is part of me, and we call her Tina. I dress because I need to find out who she is, and, frankly, I like her! Given that, only one of your parameters fit:

    #1

since that is the only way that Tina makes any sense! She's a high maintenance girl that feels very comfortable presenting as a woman

Actually I'd say its because I want to. But I haven't answered the question. It therefore has to be number 1.
I strut my stuff, I feel so proud,
I need to shout, to scream out loud,
I am Tricia I am she,
I am who I want to be

    2. But elso enjoy make-up and jewelery.
I think it's not just the clothing of a woman, ie how their clothes feel, but how necklaces and bracelets feel.
How long hair feels on your neck and face.

If theres ever something ever missing, then I notice its not there and it feels like there is a piece of the puzzle missing.
I always aim for the fullest visual and tactile picture I can get.

Not that I feel the need to be or live as a woman, just feel the need to feel like one every now and again

[QUOTE=DaisyG;2034313]Dana, of the choices you've given us, I've got to go with No. 2.

Dressing can bathe me - - totally immerse me - - in the glow of feeling pretty. Pretty in feminine ways that are simply not to be found in male mode.

Not No. 1, because if dressing truly made me feel more natural as a woman, I surely would long ago have driven myself into 24/7 girl mode.

    I agree...number 2

For me its 2 & 3. Plus I also like the way I look as a "girl". Probably a sub-conscious force that helps cope with the way too many rejections by girls

For me, it's far too complex of a situation that a 1-of-3 choice thing.
But if i had to attempt to state it simply, i'd say that:

1: I wouldn't know, since i'm not a woman, i'll never know if i felt more natural as one. However, once my feminine gender identity has formed & is expressing herself through her clothing, she feels more at ease. And her outward expression of her sexuality using her attire as the catalyst is cathartic for both of us.

    2. I do enjoy the sensations & feel of the clothing, but i would quickly tire of them without the presence of Rhonda's feminine identity. Several things must happen for her gender identity to emerge & her sense of self form. Once she's there, her presence and the enjoyment of the clothing reinforce each other, allowing the experience to be a prolonged one.

    3. Sexual arousal has a very limited role if any in the experience anymore. It did in my early years, but not anymore. I may become sexually aroused while Rhonda, but it's not related to being Rhonda. Sometimes I'll admire the sight of Rhonda's sexuality in her outfits, and if i'm already aroused from other stimuli, it may reinforce it a bit, but the clothing itself, and the act of expressing my female gender identity and her feminine sexuality, is not a source of sexual arousal for me.

After reviewing my lengthy post, it seems that i've w related items 1 & 2 to the experience, with a vague interaction between them. I initially wear the clothing to help bring my female gender identity out. She would not come to the surface without them. I enjoy the clothing to some extent, but she enjoys them more - they're her outlet of self-expression. While she's out, I enjoy them as well. And i enjoy her company.

That would make it a 1-2 interaction, within the context of Rhonda's gender identity. The clothes are the catalyst that sustains her outward identity, and her identity provides the container in which we can all enjoy the experience.

I think its because my body had a testosterone overload in powerlifting and this is the only thing to keep me sane .
