How many girls brought up in the 50's & 60's remember the hot look in boobs was the missle look. You can still see them in the old movies and tv commercials from that time frame. A prime example was Wilber's wife on Mr. Ed, don't remember her name. She always wore tight sweaters that enhanced her ICBM's.

I believe they called those bras "bullet bras" in those days. The actress that played Carol Post, wife of Alan Young's Wilbur Post, was Connie Hines. Being a young, and very, very confused, teen in those days, I both wanted and wanted to be Carol! Hot babe indeed! Still more Mister Ed trivia for you trivia buffs...the voice of Mister Ed was one of the stars of those old-time western movies...Allan "Rocky" Lane....and to get Mister Ed's lips to move when he "talked"...they gave him peanut butter!:)

Vicky's Nylons sells them. Go to vickysnylons.com and you will find them. She also sells them in satin (mmmm-mmmmm, yes, i have satin bullet bras, too).

Vicky's Nylons also sells some vintage type garter belts (six and eight garter straps--yummmmmmm).

There is also Dr. Leonard's which used to sell something called a '510 bra' or 501 bra' or something like that. It is not always available, but if you go to drleonards.com, you might find it. It is not exactly a bullet bra, but it does have semi-circular stitching on the cups. It does tend to mold your falsies in a particular fashion. i have 2 of them, but i like my Vicky's Nylons bullet bras better.

Just an update on the Mr Ed Trivia and the idea about the peanut-butter to make his lips move..... Dont try it with a welsh pony, I tried it (just to see), and my pony bit me quite hard, but didnt say a darn word ! :D


He did move his lips around a lot though and it was mildy comical.... I'm not sure the RSPCA (aspca) would see it that way though. :o
