i've gotten the vibe from some of you that I am not alone in feeling somewhat compelled to dress at times. It hit me a couple of days ago and then I find myself getting my things together and hitting Dress Barn for some shopping. Had a blast as always with very helpful sales ladies there. (found a great dress at DIlliard's as well- not as helpful but great sale!!)

So, now I'm back into it full blast and can't think of much else- which sometimes bothers me- but not this time. Sometimes the exhiliration of shopping and being in the middle of it is too good to be true. What do average guys do to get this kind of exhiliration?

My SO asked if there was a cure if i would pursue it...the answer is no i wouldn't!! Not sure what i would do with all of that free time????

For many years I wished and prayed I could rid myself of this terrible defect I suffer from. In time I realized that it was not a defect at all, but a beautiful gift I was blessed with. I would never want to be cured of this. I can't imagine how boring an existence stuck as a man-only must be. I can't imagine how empty and hollow I'd feel that way. I love being a crossdresser. It's not just what I do, it is who I am, and I love who I am. :) Would be nice if the rest of society would stop making it so difficult for us (to be accepted and out among them), but I wouldn't change a thing about me as a crossdresser... just wish I could be younger again and not waste so much time hating myself before learning to love who I am.

Would I take a "cure"? No. My crossdressing is a beautiful and wonderful thing. It is something I share with my wife. It is so much a part of me that I'm incomplete without it. I could not ever say good-bye to this.

I think what you are describing is referred to here as the PINK FOG - you can really get caught up in it

The thought of cross dressing use to bother me, but then I took the cure, and have been just fine every since!
Turns out the cure is a cute skirt, and pair of heels, at least once a week.
Oh, girls, and as far as the money you could save, guys spend a lot of money on there hobbies too!

If u pple are talking about a cure for CDing that means u all agree its a sickness or a defect...........i cant believe one of "us" or some of "us" still thinks CDing needs a cure. If Jamie's SO is talking about a "cure" for CDing i dont think CDs should think of a cure for CDing at this stage of our understanding of the CDing phenomenon.

CDing is just a bonus on the human sexuality, may be the pink fog resemble some form of compulsive behaviour but i dont think it borders on sickness.

In my own opinion and the opinion of many, many pple including some scholars we are not sick we are just different thats all.

I used to waste my time;
reading the newspaper, cleaning my house and car, working on my yard and cars, trimming up my yard, and watching, or playing, sports.:doh:

WHAT A STUPID WASTE OF TIME!:Angry3:

When I COULD BE;
chatting on line here, dressing up, shopping, or prepping my CD inventory for my next session! :D

Would I take a “cure.?” As much as I enjoy it, probably, yeah, it would make life simpler. And this does not mean I think it is a sickness or disease. It just means that there are things that I value more. If I could snap my fingers and have the desire go away, I would. Maybe.....I think...definitely yes if on the verge of being found out...ok, it's a conditional yes.

But for the time being, Tina B has the best cure.

If given an ultimatum to stop, no. Couldn’t do it.

If there was a cure to curb sexual desire would we take it, NO!
If there was a cure for laughter would we take it, NO!
If there was a cure for having the time of your life would we take it, NO!
So why would cd'ing be any different:)
