Official permission to shave

I was looking at an online article on brief history of underwear (MSNBC) today and noticed a picture that has proof of permission for men to shave their underarms. Now there are often questions about that here, people concerned about what the guys at the gym will think etc... Well ladies, if Elvis Presley, the KING of Rock 'n Roll shaved his underarms,

Please check out this picture from when Elvis was going into the Army. Someone photographed him during the physical. Not a great image, but .... well there you have it ( or better said, there it isn't !!)

Lol. Either it was too light to see.... It was photoshopped or most likely all his hair growing energies were focused on his hair and nothing else grew?

Or all the hair under his arms died off from all the drugs he was using?

The only "OFFICIAL PERMISSION" to shave my body hair comes from my

SPOUSE and she is not likely to ever grant it.

His legs too. ...I'm not sure, but I think for a lot of sports in the past, it was required for hygenic reasons... I have seen some of the 40's and 50's team photos from universities and all the guys were lacking leg hair.

One perk I have discovered about shaving my legs...my wife pays more attention to hers. A couple of prickelly nights in bed is all it took. She complained and I said now you know how I feel! I am of course waiting for that to come back to bite me. LOL

i didnt need permission either i was tired of all the hair and just doo it . it will never be the same again

welll..... it sure looks like Elvis may have been one of us !! LOL !! While I do not think you really need permission, if you feel you do, here is the solution !

Now you can use it as an excuse:

"Elvis did dear...."
"No really honey, the KING shaved his underarms ..."
" I just want to be a Rock 'n Roll star!!"

I do not think this picture is retouched, it is too low of resolution to tell for sure. His head hair is pretty dark, it really does look like the hair is gone ..... why did he shave ? I have no earthly idea, but it is a HOOT !!

I wonder if Bono or Sting shave ????
