Im just curious to how often you crossdress. I still hv to live at home so i try to whenever i have the chance and im in the mood (which is more and more). Tomorrow i hv the house to myself all day gonna take advantage of it?

I probably average less than 4 times a month with some spurts of several times a week. I prefer about twice a week, but that is not really possible due to my logisitics and that of my lady friend's. I am not really a go out alone girl. I have done it, but it is so much more fun with a friend. You should check the recent threads, because there is another one that is running right now that has the same question almost. Enjoy your day of dressing.

Let me try to reply, anyway:

1) full blown nails to hair to complete feminine presentation: about once a week for the better part of a day.

2) I'm at least partially dressed all the time as I don't own many male jeans, and some of my other clothes are from VS, although I wear them as if they were part of a male attire.

3) My body is maintained to be able to switch gender at will. Eyebrows, shaved in spots, skin regimen is like any woman's, etc.

So, if it's the full-blown dressing, then I'm presenting as a woman about 10-15% of my waking hours. The rest of the time I'm some fraction of dressed!

Well technically I wear clothes everyday. :) Now as to what kind..
I try to wear a skirt with hose twice a week. I'm not always able to do that but that's my plan.
I do have my girl socks that I wear all the time even with shorts but other than being cut a little short they look like guy socks so maybe that doesn't count.
I shave my legs and arms everyday. I know that doesn't count as dressing but it sure makes me feel like a girl. :)

I usually get to dress up once, sometimes twice a week - on weekends. That's just clothes only. I prefer to go full makeup, nails, etc., but I rarely get to go that far because of a somewhat complicated life.

I wish I had more opportunity to dress up, especially in makeup, and all, but my life is somewhat restricting, even though I have an accepting wife. So many obstacles and so little time make it hard to do much for now. Hope to change that in the future.

Usual definition of crossdressing: Going fullout with wig, forms, makeup, skirts, and all the rest....

So by my definition it's everyday, today, I'm wearing the required threesome of undies, (bra, panties, stockings) ladies shirt, ladies jeans, ladies shoes ( oxfords with laces) a light makeup job, some lippy, a delicate splash of perfume, hair in a pony tail, ( what little hair there is) and always carry a purse or some kind of bag.

This form of dressing is normal for me anymore, and BTW a night gown or nylon PJs at night.

As for the "full out" dressing, that I get away with about once a month, when I can sneak out of the house without her knowing. ( usually early morning when she's decided to sleep in)

She just doesn't care for me going out in public "like that" but it's ok if I wear ladies clothes that can be taken as "under the radar"

Envious of you who can do this a lot more than I do. I rarely get to dress b/c of real life stuff. Haven't fully dressed or put on makeup and stuff in about a year. I underdress often, (thank heaven for fancy undies) and my wife, I think, suspects this is enough, but I seriously need to get more into it a LOT more often. I blend womens clothes into my guy wardrobe, so roughly about half femme, all the time; only have thongs, and a coupla boyshorts, in my underwear drawers.

Casual/lounging around the house, yoga pants & femme tops/fleece quarter-zips with the obligitory Uggs (got my first pair in NZ in '90, so not a band-wagoneer, per Posh Spice, never wear 'em out of the house ;-)

Will run errands, in casual femme (jeans, flats, polo shirt, lite makeup), about half the time- sans makeup, if working over the weekend, too.

Since I'm part of several public TG groups in my area, I'm fully dressed out in public 2-4 times a week, at least. More often if possible.

One thing that I've noticed has happened since "coming out" and becoming a part of the public TG community is that I rarely dress around the house anymore, other than to try new things on, or experiement with make-up once in a while. So while I'm dressed a little bit every day, unless I'm going out, I'm only partially dressed at home.

That, and I wear a nightie to bed every night, and have been doing so for over a year now. :D

Just curious where you buy your clothes Audrey Lynn. I would like to do that more too. To have a wardrobe that I can choose from that is right for the occasion or event. So three wardrobes actually: (1) all male (2) all girly girl and (3) a mix and match that is a male-female hybrid look - not in a neutral "It's Pat" sense (lol) but in a way that has style, elegance and panache which could be my default "street-clothes" AND other combo's that are hip dark and angsty - for when I want my liner on thick, lashes long, fingernails black, jeans distressed and just enough holey and torn (in all the wrong places) to be provocative but not illegal.

Just wondering if there was a brand you buy that lends itself to either a male or female, unisex kinda look. Or maybe you just always look for and come upon the right blouse or shirt that can go either way. Thanks for the idea!

Now the biggest showstopper is her – she doesn’t want me to be a “girl” although she doesn’t want to be “girly” as she doesn’t wear make up and sexy lingerie. I would say her wardrobe is very masculine, except for her bras which I wear when she’s away (like now). Frequent unannounced "drop ins" also preclude going beyond underdressing, however in the evening I usually wear a dress with my panties, pantyhose, and slip. My wife seems to be OK with that; wish I had done it years ago, but maybe taking ”baby steps” is softening her prior opposition – she saw me wearing panties, nylons, and a slip for the first time in our hotel room on a recent trip. Yep, I had to do a search on the emails to find my user & password.

Since then I have a grown my hair out Aug. will be 4 years, pierced both ears[now 2 years], only own/wear female underwear. Started the handful of herbs a day to get the breasts to grow and after a year they are nearly an A. For the late start in life [55 is up in Aug] that is doing good. And since it takes gg's several years, then there is now miracle over-night changes for any male. Well there is but I doctors.
So to help out I have a pair #3 forms [full B or short C].
Wardrobe includes 3 nice dresses, conservative skirt and a couple of blouses.

I do get about an hour every morning when I get up to be dressed, and that is it except for 1-2 evenings a month.
Nearly all weekend I do get to wear a pair of slacks, and that includes going out, with a left hand zipper which is getting hard to find in the stores.

That's about it for now.

Once, while talking about a post with my wife she says to me "so you are full time". I was taken back a bit as I did not dress any where near full time on my thinking at the time and most CDers thinking. I dressed in full femme more like, maybe, once or twice a month. Then she said to me that I considered myself a male that likes to wear femme clothes and do not care if I wear make up or a wig. I considered myself a guy in a dress/skirt. And most days I am wearing one or more feminine clothing item(s). I could and can not dispute her logic. Guess I am a full time CDer. Some days I am wearing and looking more masculine. Some days I am wearing and looking more feminine. But most days I am presenting my male self. It is surprising how many femme clothes a person can wear and still present a male image. But I sure prefer many of the feminine clothes are they are softer and nicer to wear. Even if the rest of the world can not see them. But even femme jeans are nicer to wear.

Pretty much every weekend. I dress away from home. But its Easter so I'm going to be dressed from tonight right through to Easter Monday. Five and a half days. Can't wait!

No, Tamara, it is called dailydressing!! I come very close to doing that. I do wear panties at least part of every day, and spend most days in a skirt or skort. With the usual other feminine things on also! What is the point of having pretty feminine clothing if you don't wear it?? And do I have lots and lots of pretty things!:love:

Guess I dailydress as I usually wear ladies pull-on pants, panties, pantyhose, and a slip. Sure makes me feel "girly".

Although i'm not Sara 24/7, i express my femininity every day.

As 'Alan', i'm always wearing at least 2 items of female clothing, i.e. panties (24/7) ladies' jeans/trousers (pants)

Adding to this, i wear mascara, have my nails and toes manicured, eye-brows defined, wear perfume etc etc.

Money may restrain me from being Sara enfemme 24/7 but i sure do feel girly every day.

It's a Friday-Sunday thing for me..., a weekend love affair with my femme self, which I so look forward to after my long, workday week. Same here, besides, my wife will tolerate dressing as long as I'm not impersonating a woman. When she's away, I wear a bra too. Would like to go out with her en femme, but I need to soften her opposition first. Am making progress though, a few month ago, I would not have worn pantyhose, a slip, and a dress with her home. She saw me in nylons and a slip in our hotel room on a recent vacation. I am now wearing a bra, and shorts with suntan pantyhose. I have worn panties, pantyhose, a slip, and a dress in the evening before, but this is my first time during the day, and I don't plan to change before she comes home.

All of my crossdressing is done in private in my house... For me, I get to crossdress at leat once a week for a full day - an agreement my wife and I have. :D Other than that, occationally I will have the opportunity to wear womens clothes while I'm at home alone; but that's mostly for only an hour or two at most. :sad: I'll usually change back to something a little more male when my wife comes home. :straightface:

For me I am crossdressed 24/7. When I am dressed in feminine attire and are out in public several times each week many would consider that I am crossdressed although I do pass most of the time. I consider that I am dressed in balance with my 80% feminine persona and not crossdressed. When I am dressed as Mel and in masculine looking clothes I believe for me this is crossdressing and balanced with my 20% masculine persona. This makes sense to me but may not to others.

Alessandra - the answer to How often do you crossdress? depends on how far you go toward appearing as a woman. I underdress daily. I’m never fully-dressed now, but I’m working toward it. It will require “softening” my wife’s opposition to my appearing to be a woman, will probably need an “excuse” such as a costume contest, and will probably require a distant venue to be enfemme for several days to reduce the possibility of being recognized. My recent progress in wearing all women’s clothes when my wife is home encourages me that the light at the end of the tunnel is not an approaching train! For now I underdress daily, always with panties and women’s pull-on pants and usually with pantyhose and a slip, and when she’s at work (like now) I wear a bra. She just got me tights, and I wore them yesterday out to dinner with out-of-town friends. Wearing them out with panties and a slip without their knowledge was a real “rush”. I “fed” my shirt and pants, so changed to a dress when we got home which was earlier than usual for me to change clothes as it was still daylight.
