View Full Version : My Wife Kicked Me Out

Well I was booted out of my house on Saturday but it’s not as bad as you might think.

On Friday my wife got part of her tax refund. Seeing that I don’t go out much she told me to take $30 and go have some fun as Cheryl. Some of the girls I know here were going to have a get together and so my wife told me to doll up and go. So I get dressed and go out.

The first place was a consignment shop that is TG/CD friendly. I was under the understanding that it was to start there and all other things would follow. This started at 2 p.m. and when I got there at 2:30, there was no one but the owners. This was the first time I had been to a dress shop en-fem and before the sun went down. I was glad it was a CD friendly shop. I stayed and looked around but didn’t find anything. Later that evening we met at a Mexican restaurant for dinner. When I got there it didn’t look like there were many people there and going to the door alone was kind of scary. But when I went in the waiter for our table had a drink in his hand and said follow me, I know where you’re going. Met with my friends and had a good time after.

So I guess it’s not always a bad thing when the wife kicks you out, huh?:D

Sandi, read the details more carefully - that's --- I say, that's a JOKE, son. Sounds like Cheryl has a terrific missus and had a terrific time splurging some tax refund money. Good on ya, Cheryl!

Cheryl,
Sounds like you had fun and if she gets the notion that you need to be booted out again, go for it. Does she ever go with you? Just a thought. Keli

A wonderful tale, as long as you did not return home to find she had changed the locks.

Out spending a tax return, in feminine, now that sounds like a stimulus plan I can believe in!
Sounds like a good time, but sorry your trip to the consignment shop didn't net you any goodies.

Kind of what I was expecting by the end of the story.
But yes sometimes when the wife boots a person out it IS a good thing.

You sure she said you were booted out? It sounds more like she sent you out to get some boots!

Anyway, Cheryl, it sounds like you had a great time! Be sure to thank your wife! (Oh, and don't forget to give her back any change; after all, the "stimulus package" is all about change).

You know, it just makes sense to see that reply coming from someone with your nickname. Har!

Also (carefully obeying the no-consecutive posts rule)

How is it I just KNEW you would be a Foghorn Leghorn?
Depends on how old you and I are. I could be channeling Senator Claghorn from the old Fred Allen show! (for you young whippersnappers, the Claghorn character from the radio show in the 1940s was the forerunner of the chicken).

I say, that's about the best way to go about being tossed! I can't imagine a better way to be in the dog house! Wish my girl were like that more often!
