Yes, they are womens jeans. I am in guy mode when I do this. I have on a unisex looking top & womens flat sandals w/o a heel..........I am just curious is all............I was grocery shopping. I am lucky that I have a figure that can get away with wearing pocketless womens flared stretch jeans......size 9...........
There were No rude comments or anything....no reactions that I could see at all.............but some people must notice.....I would love to know what they think, good  or bad....... the curiosity is killing me!

Now mind you I do have womens jeans that do indeed have front & back pockets. I keep those for family gatherings. Early this year, my aunt came up to me & asked me where I got my jeans from. She mentioned that she had the same pair as I had on!
She then grabbed the back to see if they stretch like hers, saying, are they stretchy?......
lol
I told her that I got them at value village. It was kinda cool. I also told her that yes, they do indeed stretch. She was not making a negative comment. Merely commenting on jeans that I was wearing that she has. I wonder if she knew they were womens?
They were flared, had front & back pockets, but had those vertical lines on them......I was very cool with this, it sort of made my day! :D

I wear slacks that do not have a back pocket onthem out all the time. In fact I am wearing then right now and not even my sister or neice or her husband notices at all. You will find most people will not notice. I goto the store a lot with these slacks and a T-shirt blouse on and no one notices.

Hello Mistress Frillee,
Your question was "I wonder what people think when they see me shopping in my pocketless, flared jeans?" - well I can pretty much guarantee that they don't think anything at all.
This is an area that I have some experience in. There was a time in the past when my wife was encouraging me to "express on the outside what was on the inside" which meant (and still does) wearing obviously womens' clothes as a guy. The clothes I wore (and still do) are things like women's t-shirts and sweaters, women's jeans, girly shorts, high buttoning feminine cardigans, obvious women's tennis shoes (including keds) and medium sized pearl stud earrings. Anyway, as you can imagine when she suggested this I was thrilled to be able to go out in these clothes that I so wanted to wear but at the same time I felt timid about wearing them in public. I was absolutely sure that people would not only notice, but that they might say something to my face...or at least point and laugh at me or something. Well, I am happy to tell you that none of this happened. In fact apart from a few "knowing smiles" I have had no response at all.
What I am trying to say is that it's all in your head. People don't really notice...or if they do notice, they don't really care. So for you and your jeans.......no problem. Enjoy the feeling of wearing them and be secure in the fact that it feels a million more times conspicuous than it actually is in real life. I imagine this is how it is when you go out en femme in a busy public place for the first time. In fact I believe that the experience of being in this (seemingly) vulnerable situation will help me when I do eventually start going out en femme in daylight.
Best wishes
Katrina

Hmmm...pocketless jeans...I gotta get me a pair of those. I think I may start with a pair that has the rhinestones going down them first though. Think anybody would notice them?

They may notice but don't care...not that big a deal to them. And if so, that is very good news for us CD's...unless of course, you are TRYING hard to be noticed....and aren't! I have worn women's jeans in public often and never had any problems. Never worn pocketless ones though, I will admit. Last year, though, I wore some short-short jeans to make a beer run. (wife would have had a caniption if she had known!) Had a T on, sandals, and had just shaved my legs earlier that day. As I was looking around deciding on my selection...bending over often as well...one of the sales girls there walked by and asked if I needed any help. No, I said, I think I can find what I'm looking for ok. As she passed by I noticed out of the corner of my eye that she had looked back and was checkin' me out...a coy little smile on her face. Made me feel pretty good...and sexy too as well!
Maybe sometimes we are just overly sensitive, or so acutely aware, of receiving a negative response or comment, that we just don't realize most people aren't looking at us that intently, or aren't bothered by it at all if they do notice.
Times have certainly changed, and while the progress may still seem slow to us, things do seem to be changing for the better. A very positive and hopeful sign for all of us!
Love,
Chrissie:)

Oh, I get it...you WANT people to notice them :) Gotcha. In that case, ignore everything Angel said. The truth is, everyone will see them and they won't just think you have weird taste in clothes. They'll KNOW about you. They'll probably know what you're wearing underneath too. I bet they can even see the outline of your bra straps. When the sales clerks smile at you and say have a nice day, you can tell they're totally on to you. What a rush! ;)
Hee hee....you girls are so hard to please sometimes. Honestly, I never know whether to say "Don't worry, no one is looking," or "Ooooh, did you see the way that lady smiled at you?"

yeah, I used to do that too before going out regularly as female. People generally don't care what you wear.
