I thought that this was a little funny, so I figured that I'd share it with you all.....

So DD and I are sitting here one morning doing some computer work and we get a knock on the door. DD goes and answers it and it turned out to be a delivery for me. But the thing was that the guy was asking for Brent.... So I go throw on a black t-shirt and a ball cap, take out my earrings and try to look boy real quick like. Note that I had no makeup on or anything because it was in the morning, so it was just me.

I go to the door and the guy is giving me the stuff and is looking at me a little funny. He asks if I am Brent and I say yes and he looks even more confused. Then he is like, "well mam, I am not understanding, were your parents cruel and name you Brent. Like the boy named Sue thing?" And here I am laughing to myself as I can just see what is going on in his mind.
So I simply say yes and that I actually go by Bre as it's just easier that way. He gets a look like a light switch turned on and was like wow, well thanks and leaves.

All this while DD is in the living room and is cracking up

Looks like I can't pass as a boy anymore! :GD: :battingeyelashes:

What was really funny was when Bre came out of the room in her version of "boy" mode... I started laughing because I knew she would only confuse the poor delivery guy even more that way. LOL!

and DD must be heartbroken.

I'm assuming you mean that sarcastically.

That is just too funny, so I guess there is no turning back now. Your just stuck with being Bre. Now that is a kind of problem I wouldn't mind having.

Luckily for me I quite happen to like being Bre :D Hence why I am going through the whole transition thing and will be permanently doing the name change thing here in the next little bit. :heehee::daydreaming:

That is great bre, you have crossed the last thing you're going to cross no? A note about the name change.... I started the process figuring that it would take about two months and did a whole time table thing. I didn't count on the courts being so backed up with foreclosure's that it added a five month wait for the court date to finalize it, I am probably going to start crying as soon as I hear the judge say
" I now declare you to be...,,." and will probably break down on the court house steps. At last! I can't wait. I have allready gone full time and am on HRT. I have already gotten my work ID name and gender changed and at the gym too! I just can't wait to be rid of the last bit of the old life. errr
