Well I'm sure you ladies have been here before. But now I dont have a single bras that fits me right/ I'm now hanging over the sides. Time for me and and a new bra fitting. Its hard now that I'm more than an A but not quite a B cup.

Ditto. I have been an A up until very recently, now I find (as my GG best friend described it) that I am a 'generous A' or a small B.

I think I am a B but always go braless unless I am wearing my breastforms.

I found that you can actually put a bra on just like a blouse, leave it fastened and pull it on over your head.
My gg friend said she never thought of it. I think we are programmed that if there are fasteners (in the back!) they should be fastened after you put it on. This is so much easier and faster, I never liked back fasteners fastened in front and then turned around.

I have a camisole with fairly good foamed shape that gives me a C and I haven't put anything in it, except once I used my D breastforms.

Hilarious- when I was dancing that night, one of the forms slipped down and wound up in my middle over my belt, giving me 3 apparent boobs and I didn't notice until I got home. I did wonder why one couple was looking at me and giggling. Guess I found out when I got home!

I get stretchy ones... but then I'm tight ;)

Some companies make a NB -- near-B -- size. Playtex is one of them.

I just fasten them backwards around my waist then twist it around and pull it up. I would be worried about stretching it all out if I fastened it first then pulled it down over my shoulders.

It seems like most places only carry the "Thank Goodness it Fits" ones, but these are a lot cuter:

I know I saw them somewhere ... I think at JCPenny.

Is there some reason why you cant hook it from behind??

I just wrap it around me & hook it from behind and then slide my arms into the straps.. It doesn't get any easier than that, but maybe I've been doing it for too long..lol

But you should see me remove it with a shirt on, I learned that from a girl, and it's a nice trick.

Is there some reason why you cant hook it from behind??

When I put it on that way, I still have to feel with my fingers for which set is the middle set of hooks, so I can put it on a second or two faster by hooking it in the front.

Maybe it has something to do with proportions. I'm 42-34-40 with a 38" ribcage. That's certainly not small, but I've got a flat stomach, so it takes absolutely no time for me to fasten a bra around my waist then rotate it before I pull it up. I would imagine that if my waist was the same size or larger than my ribcage it would be much less convenient to twist the bra around after I fastened it.

OK, I guess that makes sense, I never payed too close attention to what row it's on, but if it's loose or tight, I just re-hook accordingly..

I know some GGs with big boobs who have an interesting method where they put the bra (unhooked) over their shoulders then bend over at the waist and let them get situated into the cups then fasten the hooks behind their back while they're still leaning forward.

I'm proud to say that I've been able to hook a bra behind my back since second grade. (I have had problems undoing girls' bras during sex, however-unhooking the wrong way).

I've found many B's are on the small side. If you don't use a padded bra, satin or stretch ones have a lot of flexibility in size.

S--t, if I grow to a C cup, I'll have to get all new bras.

If you go to onehanes' web site there is a brand that has 'almost' size's that I've had good luck with. And i put my bra on the way my momma did, hook at front, twist around, bend over and let breasts fall into cups, pull straps up.
And I love the trick of getting my bra off under my shirt. Heck I think I remember putting one ON that way. But then again I am VERY limber for someone my age( NO! I will not answer that one, you'll have to check the profile.) Carol.

To be honest I had more trouble when I hooked my bra in front and twisted it around. Maybe being taller and having long arms helps but the only way I can get it on with the girls in place correctly is hooking it behind me.

I know some GGs with big boobs who have an interesting method where they put the bra (unhooked) over their shoulders then bend over at the waist and let them get situated into the cups then fasten the hooks behind their back while they're still leaning forward. This is usually what I end up doing. While I have trouble thinking of what I have as "big boobs" my newest bra is a D cup (and it's all me).

Hook it in front, twist it around, pull it up, put em in,slip my arms in....adjust and go

My favorite way is almost the same.... hook it in front ,twist it around, pull it up,slip em in,slide my arms in..adjust...look in the mirror, reach around, unhook, extend my arms, lean forward, it slides off, falls to the floor. throw on a blouse or shirt. look in the mirror, give em a little shake, smile, and go. LOL

are you bitching or bragging? Carol Carol, if you're asking me that question the only answer I have is one I remember from an old TV show "The Guns of Will Sonnett"

"No brag, just fact" :)

I'm sure being in between sizes can be a challenge. Having been on HRT just 5 months, My trouble is I'm growing, but my little breast buds are still a bit too small for even an A cup. (boy, finding a 38A is a little tough!). But I will need something soon, and actually could use something now. I simply can not run at all anymore without pretty bad pain. I'm gonna try a stretchy sportsbra. See if that will be tight enough to "hold" me until I grow a bit more. Let ya know. For now, I'm still using my forms in public, but am growing very weary of them

I dont know why, but I can put a bra over my shoulders, reach back and fasten it easily every time. Even my Endo laughed and said she couldnt do it that easily. I do tend to buy bras with just two hooks.

P.S. They're a little pricey, but one of my girlfriends swears by VS Biofit. I can't fit into one yet, but she says once you wear one, you'll never go back.

Hugs,

Melissa:)

I have 2 Biofits and love them. They fit great and are very comfortable to wear. The last one I bought was their Perfect One. It fits a lot like the BioFit but the cups are stiffer and it's a full coverage instead of demi but but it's a great bra too.

I can do that quite well myself, lol
Funny thing was after doing one time my sister got pissed [well not really, lol] and told me she can't do it.

I though that was pretty funny. :D

Apparently the biofit runs small in the VS line. I went up there to get measured and the only 2 bras they had that would fit me were the Biofit and the Ipex. I bought both because they were both so very different. The Ipex is VERY comfortable and the Biofit, while still comfy, adds quite a bit in size (at least down in the A range). Now that I have said that, I have made a discovery recently that has knocked both of those bras out of the first place running for all time favorite bra. Wonderbra. I bought one of the gel pushup bras (from Marshall's for $8 as opposed to the $50 something I paid for each at VS) This is the most amazing bra I have ever worn! I am tiny in size and I finally found a bra that I can fill the cup in and yet at the same time be comfy and create additional size not to mention the beginnings of what may be cleavage. It is a win-win-win!

As for this, this is actually almost verbatim the recommended method of putting a bra on according to the wonderbra website.

With my forms, like an F. =)
Otherwise, a 36B.

I have to say that I am definitely a B now, all my As are getting very tight and uncomfortable. One of my Bs even feels a bit tight.

Niya, Playtex has a line of bras with inbetween sizes, i.e., nearly B, etc. They work very well, are more stylish than the regular Playtex line, and offer a variety of colors. I have one and luv it!

Another bra to try when you are between sizes is the Barely There 0213. It is a stretchy cotton bra without under wire or formed cups etc. Very plain but also tends to form to what ever shape is under it. I am sure a B would work for people from A on up to full B.

I got my best fit at JC Penney's. But I really loved the attention and the advice given by the girls at Victoria's Secret. Bras at both fit very well and are about as comfy as a bra can be!

I found my perfect bra!! It's a $45 bra that was on sale, and by accident I found my perfect 36 A. With a little padding. I'm in heaven.

I found just the opposite Kelly. The 40D in the Biofit fit's me perfectly where the 40 Ipex is more like a 36 or 38. Maybe it's different in the smaller band sizes.
