Just checking in to ask a question of everyone. I've posted my story before, so I don't want to bore everyone with it again, but I have a request if you have any little snipets of wisdom you can send my way. I am looking for articles, websites, etc. that my ex-spouse can look at to help her through our 'transition'. We have been divorced for over a year now, and both of us are still at a place of 'did this really happen to us'...

Anyway, what I'm looking for are any links you can send me that would help her understand the whole thing better. (Besides the so section of this website) Maybe direction toward a good ex-spouse (but not hateful) message board so she could talk to others in her shoes. She has a therapist, but the therapist is not well versed in trans issues, so I'm not sure she's getting the support she needs. It is hard for her to talk to me about it, so I'm kind of dependent here.
I have been online myself, and have been to tsroadmap and pflag and such, but I haven't seen anything much beyond that. I figured I would ask the group instead of spending hours looking myself. Anything you can help me with would be very appreciated! Thank you!

Nicole

www.transsexual.org is a nice site by a woman by the name of Diane Reitz. lots of good information, stories, and helpful links. The essay, "Reasons to cherish being transsexual" is especially nice, in my opinion.

Wow, Michele, I just read that one. It was uncanny, my whole life up to now laid out better than I could ever have described it myself.

there is an amazing article here (canada-based so the doctors and references won't help much, but the general message is very helpful.
