Like about twenty christmases at once.
Like the sun had come out for the first time ever.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

..... *censored*

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

Like all was right in My world....that a stranger had actually looked at Me and saw ME.

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

Neither of My parents handled it well at all....I have been asked to leave My family because they don't want to deal with My transition and I have not been to a family event or spoken to any of them since...They are too afraid of "what the neighbors will think", so they prefer that I just fade into obscurity. But, in spite of that, I never for ONE SECOND regret My decision to transition. I can't be anyone other than who I am for anyone, not even them....and I shouldn't have to be.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

I have always loved sports (am a rabid Browns/Cavs/Indians fan)....I love to take things apart and fix them, and always have....I have really never had stereotypically female interests at all....My youngest son said it best when I told him about being trans....He said, "Mom, I always knew you were a dude"....LOL

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!)

Honestly, I don't know....I don't really study other FtM's....so I have no answer for that one.

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

I have been told that I am stereotypically male in pretty much EVERY way....and I was even before anyone knew I was trans.

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay?

I have no idea, lol.

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

No idea.

8.) Have you ever been a drag king?

No, dressing male is the natural order of dress for Me, I have never been in drag.

9.) Favorite comic book?

Spiderman.

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf?

Getting to know My "sister" in Iowa (who is a transgirl)....Exchanging things (I gave her some of My old clothes, which fit her like a glove, she gave Me a watch, some clothes, etc.)....Just talking about how our lives mirrored in such same, but opposite ways....Having someone to talk to that felt just as out of sorts in her own body as I always did growing up....That was great.

1. Wretched. I was 'supposed' to be a girl and I was trying so damn hard to be the person everyone said I was, and people calling me 'sir' only showed I was failing miserably. Of course, now I've realized that I'm transexual and my desperate attempts to be female were destined to fail because I'm just not.

2. Mom, though she made me nearly cry and my dad didn't.

3. Sewing? Baking? Maybe just geeking out.

4. Loren Cameron or Buck Angel. They're both contemporary but they're both making history.

5. I'm a little stereotypically 'Uh oh, she want to talk. Uh oh, she's talking about her feelings. Uh oh, what the heck am I supposed to say? I don't get this stuff...'

6. Yea, in the sense of he's my #4 answer. Nay in the sense of I don't actually watch his work.

7. Rhiana Griffith, but I think that's just because I like Pitch Black.

8. Nope.

9. Geez, ask me an impossible question why don't you... as a kid I liked (still do) X-Men, Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Flash, Fantastic 4... those classics. There were also books of Calvin and Hobbes, Dilbert, The Far Side, etc. Then I discovered JTHM and Writhe and Shine, Deady... a bit more morbid. Then came Manga, and there's too many of those to list. I love comics, especially webcomics because they're so accessible. :bg:

10. Lots of fun. Too many people and too many times to pick a favorite.

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

I couldn't stop grinning for the rest of the day :D

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

Neither of my parents are handling it - it's been 18 months and I have been on T for almost 10 months, and they still refuse to acknowledge that I am not female or use my male name or male pronouns. In fact they actively denigrate me in public and tell me all the time that I am not fooling anyone, that they know who I am better than I do. Not surprisingly, I hardly ever have anything to do with them.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

Kicking back with a few beers in front of the tv to watch football or cricket; tinkering with stuff or building things.

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!)

Hmmm....Billy Tipton was pretty cool, most of the FtMs I think of in that context are people like Jamieson Green and Loren Cameron though, because as has been said, they are making history.

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

Oh hell yeah, all the time - I love drinking beer and watching sport, and when I hang out with my friends they often tease me for being stereotypically male just because of the way I speak and act around them.

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay?

To be quite honest I'm not really sure what to make of the fact that he's an FtM porn star (probably because that whole idea triggers a lot for me dysphoria wise), but I have watched a lot of his interviews and stuff and I like him, he's a very cool guy who is very honest about who he is and what he does, and I admire that a lot. He's also very funny, which I really like :D

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

Ummm....I don't think I have ever seen a female celebrity do a particularly good job of passing as a guy, but Hillary Swank didn't do too bad a job.

8.) Have you ever been a drag king?

No.

9.) Favorite comic book?

Ummm.....way too many! Starting with Spiderman, Wolverine and 2000AD when I was much younger, I read way too many comics to list them all here but Wolverine is and always has been a favourite.

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf?

Probably going out clubbing at Sin with my ex-gf, we had a lot of fun; or some of the nights clubbing with the girls from a local CD/trans group here.

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

Brilliant but *smug look lol* I was called sir before I came out as trans lol

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

Humph...neither...please, they dont even speak to me...bless em *growls*

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

Er....everything I do is a a manly activity lol...but if we are going to be gendered here then I love DIY and weight training....my god how sexist is that lol

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!)

I associate most with Brandon Tenna, had he have lived he would have been my age. Also with an English man called Stephen Whittle who has done an amazing amount of work for Trans people through an organisation called Press for Change. He recieved an O.B.E. for his work. When you consider how many people are "outed" and sensationalised in the press his OBE was only published in one newspaper....the Gay Times! I have become one of his manly groupies lol

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

I guess so and sometimes there is an urge to be more of a man than a genetis guy ( I joke that this isnt hard to do lol). For the most part I am myself but my humour is often genderised (is that a word lol)

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay?

I havent the slightest idea what you are talking about lol

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

No idea lol

8.) Have you ever been a drag king?

No but I think I may want to be a drag queen when I am further down my transition lol

9.) Favorite comic book?

VIZ its a british adult smut comic lol

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf? I spend lots of time with other transfolk regardless of how they identify and always have a laugh

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?" First time i got called Sir i wasn't even out public haaa, actually first time out public is a bit wrong, i've always been public about stuff (even when i wasn't lol) as in i always wore guys clothes.

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad? Neither lol

3.) What is your favorite manly activity? Football, woop, playing and watching, awesome!

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way? What? Lol...always, everything...don't know why no one noticed before the age of 16!

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay? Haha...nah, don't like that whole proud of being a guy with a "pussy" it's wrong in my opinion, just wrong (MY OPINION MAYBE NOT YOURS BUT CERTAINLY MINES) I mean, i wouldn't boast about something like that...

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy? I don't know any celebrities that are female who pass as a guy...

8.) Have you ever been a drag king? Lol

9.) Favorite comic book? Ohfft...too many

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf? Never done anything fun with a mtf...but a "GG" well...too much lol

I know that feeling, i have a habbit of writing stuff backwards and sideways and in an order i can only read and it makes sense to me but is jibberish to everyone else.

I also speak backwards sometimes and don't even realise it lol.

If i don't laugh, i'll cry.

I dont often struggle but certain things are a problem for me. Like mtf and ftm, I really have to think about them lol. My dyslexia affects what I hear mostly, I jumble up words in my head and it takes time to translate sometimes.

Had it have read ftm however it would have been a true statement but realising it said mtf i noticed my error lol.

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

Elated!

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

I'm not really out. My mother is so-so about what she does know, and my dad's not in the picture very much.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

Climbing stuff and being a nerd.

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!)

Axiothea from Phlios, one of two female students of Plato's. She/he "is said to have worn men's clothes".

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

I get impatient with sentiment, insist on logical thinking and diguise my emotions with sarcasm. I guess that's stereotypically male.

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay?

What's a Buck Angel?

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

Hilary Swank in Boys Don't Cry.

8.) Have you ever been a drag king?

Nah, I don't have the requisite exhibitionist streak.

9.) Favorite comic book?

Tintin and Asterix.

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf?

Jhonny the homicidal maniac

Then I discovered JTHM

Jhonen Vasquez is God to me. Okay, maybe not that much, but I swear, if that man was ever in my presence, I may start to dry hump.

His stuff convinced me that the odd quirks that come from chronic insomnia are almost normal. :heehee:

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

I haven't been called "sir" by strangers yet. If you'll count people I know, though, the first time I was called "he/him" by my fiance, I felt liberated.

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

I haven't told either of my bioparents yet. They haven't been parents in my life, just absentees and abusers. So, I'm only going to tell them after I'm far away from them and my support system is completely solid/sturdy - enough to handle possibly being disowned.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

Tinkering with stuff - I like to build things, rip things apart, put things back together, try to figure out why/how they work, etc.

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!)

I don't have one.

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

Sometimes.

Belching contests...

Drinking Bacardi 8 rum, Jose Cuervo tequila, and Jagermeister (not together, but all within a few hours on my 21st birthday) "like a champ" according to my roommate (who is a GM)...

Discussing swords/knives/other "pointy things"...

Laughing my arse off just now after making a certain joke (Edit: which I edited out cause looking at it I'm not sure if it's against the rules to post exactly what I meant)

On the other hand though, (stealing John's quote for a minute cause he said it best) I sometimes find myself being a stereotypical gay male; I'm camp and effeminate.

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay?

No opinion on him.

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

I don't know, I don't follow celebrities.

8.) Have you ever been a drag king?

No.

9.) Favorite comic book?

I don't read comic books - Do online comic strips count? I have loads of favorites there.

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf?

All of my MTF friends I've only been able to talk to online, never in person so far, so I guess I'll say just chatting.

1.) How did it feel the first time you were in public and got called "Sir?"

Pissed off. Why? Because I've always been called sir. I was assaulted sexually twice from guys who "thought" I was a guy, they grabbed my boobs! But once I "came out" it was just.......normal. :D

2.) When you come out as trans, who handles it better, mom or dad?

Erm. Neither my mom is dead for almost 20 years now & my father dropped me like a hotcake about 15 years ago.

3.) What is your favorite manly activity?

Sports watching NFL football probably.

4.) Who's your favorite FtM historical figure? (for example, I find Billy Tipton Fascinating!) No idea. Don't know any.

5.) Do you ever find yourself being a stereotypical male? In what way?

I scratch, burp, fart etc. always have done those things actually. The funny thing is I seem like a back woods redneck that would carry a gun in my truck & a football player because my neck is so big. LOL But I'm the opposite actually. I'm a gay man who's sweet, nice & respectful. I do not chew tobacco, I do not have a truck or a gun!

6.) Buck Angel, Yea or Nay? WTF is this?

7.) What female celebrity do you think did the best job in passing as a guy?

Demi Moore was not trying to pass as a guy but came close in GI Jane. There was a movie I saw in the '80's called Tomboy. I have no idea who the actress was though. She did ok.

8.) Have you ever been a drag king? Nope

9.) Favorite comic book?

Judge Dredd, The Punisher, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, & any horror comics :D

10.) What's the most fun you've ever had with an mtf?

1. It felt amazing. I was at a watermelon stand and a couple of girls came up and talked to me. First time I was out in drab and it felt so surreal.

2. I can't tell anymore. My folks were both resistant to the whole thing at first, but they both embrace me as their son. I think my dad is better with it though. My mom sometimes has issues with getting the right pronouns down.

3. Honestly, it use to be picking up girls. But now that I have a girlfriend, I'd say it's working out.

4. I don't know any FTM figures. I have issues with identifying with them. Sounds strange, I'm sure. But I guess I must be a little delusional because I see myself as a 100% guy.

5. I couldn't name all the ways. I've never identified myself as a female so I don't know how to act like one. I'm insensitive a lot of the time and I always have my foot in my mouth with women. I really need to work on that.

6. Who?

7. Um that's a tough one. I can't think of any.

8. No. Nothing drag about me.

9. Daredevil and Spiderman.

10. I haven't been in the presence of an MTF in so many years. We got trashed out of our minds though. I guess that was fun.
