Ok, as some may know, I broke my right wrist a few weeks back. Well, they finally took off the cast, YEAH!! Now I have a brace to wear, but that is neither here nor there....

I shave, nose to toes and have for some time. Under the cast of course, the hair grew just fine ;) I was soooo surprised by how much was there. It is silly of me, but I had forgotten how much hair I have on my arms. I looked down after it was cleaned up and it was

..... whoa-boy! where did all that come from ??? :confused2:

For that matter, I remember my legs etc, but probably it would be more than I thought there too!
No one there commented on the diff between the two arms, but it is bath time tonight for sure :itsok:

OK, I warned you.... totally silly observation

It may be silly but soooo true, broke my leg a few years ago and after six weeks in the cast it was massively hairy down there. With hindsight, I probably shouldn't have kept shaving the other one but I always hate having a hairy body. I went wearing shorts for easy cast access when they cut it off, but I looked really weird with one shaved leg and one with thick black hair......

Just tell the doctor and staff that the broken bone during the healing process

must have triggered some type of hair growth - of course you could just tell

the truth - I suspect that they know that you shave your body hair

OH they didn't care ! No need for a story ;) They also do not know what's shaved really, for a broken wrist you get to keep your clothes on. The surprise was a personal experience only.

There was a girl in the next bed over, having her cast changed, broken ankle. She commented about her own leg and how hairy it was - exclaiming " oh god i have guy legs now!!". Made me chuckle as back in my college days, women generally did not shave their legs ( mid-late 70's, small lib arts school ). So I sure did not see her legs that way at all. Those days made it hard to be very feminine - especially for a CD !! OR maybe it was easy as it will ever be ??? LOL !!!
