What are some of your favorite activities when dressed? If you don't mind specifying, can you indicate if you are very passable or slightly or not really. My reason for asking this is since I barely pass, I would like to know what others who are like me feel comfortable doing. The more info the better, thanks Sara.

Nothing really. I pretty much do the same en femme as I do en homme, just different clothes.:)

I love being completely shaved, and taking long walks in the woods, wearing only a slippery rayon romper and sandals, in the warmer months. Feels great! No need for makup, or worrying about passing. Just a remote trail or two track in the forest.

Shopping, shopping, shopping!!

For me, it combines all of my favorite girly activities into one. I get something new and pretty. I (usually) get compliments. I get to see myself in the mirror and see a curvy beautiful woman (thanks, padding and paint!) looking back. Mostly, I get to hang around women - talk with them, give and get opinions, etc. I bask in that acceptance.

Sigh. Thanks. Now I'm going to have to go shopping again! I guess it has been a week since my last trip. :)

After this morning I gotta add
answering the door dressed.............
Up until then I would just do what ever I had to do while dressed. I help care for an elderly lady with alzheimers along with 5 GG's. I dress most of the time here and just do my job. But this morning I answered the door cause I knew the guy saw someone in the window when he pulled up out front. He knew someone was home and I have to admit I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER so why not today.

Bathing, then shaving all over and slipping into some brand new lingerie, having a hot cup of tea and maybe chatting online a while.

Love going out too.

shopping, clubbing. I feel I pass as female, but I really don't care what other say or feel. I feel good the way I look and that is the only important thing to me.

When I go out, it is shopping and visiting with SA's who have sold me things while I was en drab.

Did I say shopping:D.?

Yes, I confess - I'm a shop-aholic, and shoes are my particular poison. Does that make me shallow?

I certainly hope so, as one of the key attractions of crossdressing is that it provides a safety valve for those of us who work in the types of high-stress occupations that males typically gravitate towards due to our social conditioning. Spending time in this parrallel universe is like a mini-vacation and helps recharge the batteries so that we can muster up the necessary energy to go back and slay the corporate dragons yet again.

I especially enjoy shopping in "Leslie" mode and trying on dresses, skirts, tops, and shoes and having SA's treat me just like a regular woman shopper. Not a care in the world - just searching for the "perfect" outfit to help in perfecting my female persona.

The only personal challenge that I haven't overcome yet is to have a MAC makeover in one of their stores, but I think that is only a matter of time.

I would have to say SHOPPING!!!!:jumping: Hands down. My second FAV is going clubbing. I would say it's 50-50 if I pass during the day. With my sunnies on,no problem. I can pass all day where ever. At night I can pass most all of the time. Esp at the clubs. No problem.:)

Sara, I enjoy doing most anything while out and about enfemme. I spend a lot of time in the malls and stores just because of the easy to do factor or timing factor. But I have been to movies, a play, museums, and other places. And most times I am out and about any length of time include going out to eat. I general still to mainstream public places with a mix of people. Most of my out and abouts the last year have been going to a larger nearby town and doing a variety of male errands (lumber/hardware stores and similar) and household (Target, KMart, walmart) and femme shopping (malls and most anywhere). I do not pass but blend well and dress to blend. I wear a lot of longer denim skirts and causual to nice tops. It helps I have a natural higher pitch voice. But get a lot of the sudden I have been made looks when people get a good look at me. I just smile and say Hi and go about what I was doing. I just use my male CC and ID when shopping and have not had any problems.

IMHO and experience, being out and about and interacting with other people, their reaction/acceptance/tolerance starts with your personal acceptance of yourself and what you are doing. You think and act like there is nothing wrong with how you look and what you are doing, most other people in general will treat you similar. Yea I get a lot of the sudden looks from people. I just consider that their brains adjusting from what they thought they seen to what they are looking at. Yea I am a guy that is wearing feminine clothes, make, and accessories. Or a damn ugly gal.

I'm really not passable, but I still love to dress completely & hang around the house. One thing that I REALLY enjoy is underdressing with a bra, & matching panties. Only the best for me with VS second skin satin & newport news jeans, tucked of course. I wear women's tops too. I feel so comfortable with hoop earrings & french nails too. In fact I feel so comfortable thaat one time on the spur of the moment, I went to VS to get 3 pairs of high cut briefs & I forgot that I still had on the nails & 1" hoops in my ears. Boy was I surprised when I gave the cashier my credit card & saw my nails. I know I was flushed, but she didn't say a word. She simply rang up the sales & said to have a nice day. WOW was I freaking out.

I love to shop when I'm en femme, but truly I enjoy just about anything that I would do in drab. I've recently started going on backpacking hikes too.
As far as passing, I'm fairly passable, but I've stopped worrying about that very much (at least not as much as I used to, but I still try to make myself look as good--i.e., passable--as possible).

Shopping (online only for now) of course!

I also like lounging in a nightdress reading or watching chick flicks. And shopping. And I love candles and girly bath products (still building that collection though :( ). And shopping. Did I mention I like shopping?

Shopping is my fav, but pretty much doing ANYTHING femme is cool with me. As Karen said about Casino's "Even loosing in femme is more fun that winning drab"

I do a ton of things in femme, but two of my favorites is shopping and dining out.
With the amount of shopping I do, I think I'm the only one helping the economy. :heehee:

My favorite activity enfemme is getting all glitzy and enjoying with my wife being at the Captain's party on a cruise and later served and treated as a beautiful woman at the formal dinner on the ship. Only 2 more months and we repeat this on the Star Princess sailing to Alaska. Life is so good - enfemme!!

I've only been dressing for a couple of years and I'm at the stage of being comfortable dressed, but not practiced. So, I spend almost all my time trying to do everthing in life as a woman. So far this is mostly an indoor activity including cooking, cleaning those high places only easily done in 5" heels (!), crochetting, reading (some books are for me and some for "him"), and just doing things around the house with my gf ("his" wife).

Right now the big things are getting used to my voice and all the changes of inflection this causes. For those of you who don't have a voice yet, just wait til you try to talk with inflection without that big ole resonant cavity! It's making me selfconcious and I'm trying to get by this problem. Also, staying dressed longer is a challenge as one needs to shave and reapply makeup or the ole shadow shows through! Also it turns out that Tina is left handed and he is right handed, so I'm writing a bit more to make sure my writing is workable :).

So I guess this all means that my activities are about what an adolescent girl would live through, except I'm doing it at warp speed!
