I have brought this up a few times in answers to other posts but how many of you girls have a coffee clutch with friends or family as your femme side?
I have six sisters-in-law and over the past year I have came out to four of them gradually. This morning I was up early (5:30am), okay at my usual time, and made coffee and picked up pastries. I came home and put on my makeup and dressed in white jeans and lavender top, Donned the wig and a little purfumme and put on the heels for our coffee clutch. :daydreaming:
The oldest sister-in-law, Mary, has seen me dressed before but this was everyday coffee and this was new to her.:) I had also picked up individual Thank You cards for them as they have become not only my support group but also my sisters. Anyway they came over for coffee and it really was a morning of girl talk and picking on each other. We had a great time and when we parted there were huggs all around.
As CDers we sometimes think are sisterhood is our support group but fail to realize there are those we love and care for that support us daily. It was such a nice morning I thought I would share it. Now set up a coffee/tea cltch and have fun. :hugs::heehee: Keli
