it started with an average of 7.2 but has worked up over the months to 7.6, even with slight beard shadow, go figure. (See Attached picture) I must be doing something right with my makeup etc. or men in general are sick..If I did a full body shot like yours I would drop into the 50's for sure. The picture you have is definitely a sexy one and I would rate you on the high side above 8 for sure, well done. :battingeyelashes:

Surprised you got a high rating? I'm not surprised at all. You look like a cute GG ... especially in a slightly blurred pic like that :)

Lots of girls have tried this site, myself included. I didn't tell anyone about it so that my score wasn't effected by my well meaning friends :D. I've heard that the more skin you show (breasts and/or legs) the higher your rating. Me? ... the best I've ever had was a 7.2 and I only got that in the first few hours, it slided to a 6.8 very quickly :sad:

I'm always surprised at what they like and don't like. More skin for sure, but I think it has to be the whole immediate impact. Because people don't dwell on a picture for very long. So whatever the picture is, it's got to have a "bam" factor to it.

Enjoy, just don't take it too seriously. I put my drab picture out and got a 5! Really, a 5?

I don't want to be to much of a spoil sport here. But I think when we post a pic on Hot or Not and tell our CD kin about it, they naturally go visit it and vote it high. I think it is only when the vote count count gets high, circa 1000 + that you begin to get no associated votes and the score is more reflective of you visual impact. I posted my pic up there and initially it score very high because all my friends (just like here) voted me 10. It was not until after my friends had voted and the pic had been up there for several months did the score stabalize at around 7.6 with over 10,000 votes.

0K, what I find interesting, I am on the site, as a man, bald, no make-up, hairy arms, wearing a corset, skirt, stockings and high heels, and it says im rating hotter than 99% of the men on this site. It just makes me wonder about the acceptance level that we all seem to be worried about.

If you also put up as "to meet" or whatever it's called, that's a better indication.. I've gotten over a dozen people who want to "meet"...

also you can click in your dashboard the "who favorited me" and that's people who genuinely are interested in you.. or just sickos! lol

Spoil Sport? not at all hon. I never tell my CD kin when I post out there. If they happen to see it out there they are free to vote as they like.

But I honestly have not seen a big difference between say:

When HON first started they used to send you an "Official" rating via email, and it was rarely over 500 votes. Since I was not aware of the 1000+ guide line, I usually pulled mine off before that mark (again, I had not seen a big variance by the number of votes).

But here is one I accidentally left up for 1,765 votes:

So sorry about the other pictures with the low voting totals, I was just showing that the ratings can vary greatly between pictures and I'm not always sure what they are looking for. In some ways I like the lower rated picture that I posted up above.

Used to do it, but can't take it seriously anymore. The whole system i find weird, other rating websites don't gather so many to have over 8 or 9, as according to their faq, they also assume some people only rate 1 to 5, i don't get that, either that means they use 1 to 5 numbers or multiples of 2 for 10.
