Last night my spouse and I saw Watchmen: The IMAX Experience.

There are a couple of very erotic scenes that take place between Night Owl II (Patrick Wilson) and Silk Spectre II (Malin Akerman).

Whenever I see steamy erotic scenes like that, with long, passionate kisses and extensive petting (where the woman is always the recipient of far more erotic touches) my mind goes wild -- I so, so want to know what that feels like from her side.

How about you? Where does your mind go during those scenes?

It is a unique but actually a very pleasant experience. Not like kissing a girl at all. Guys are more aggressive in their kissing as, I assune, most of us know. Just imagine what you do being done to you.

Movies? Never mind that, my lad! Real life is much better! :)

I don't know how much I can speak to the population at large, but based on my experience, not all women have that erotic touch. I suspect many men don't, either. When the right couple get together, they can absolutely electrify each other.

There's good lovers who know what & where all your nerve endings are, and then there's wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am & dead fish. I don't think it's a guy thing or gal thing at all.

I'm terrible at the cinema in that my mind wanders everywhere but the screen in front of me... Usually I tend to think... God this chair is uncomfortable... Should I buy those shoes?... How much longer will this go on? etc... :)

As for the kissing thing... Well I was born tongued tied and I have a very short tongue so it's always been down to my partner female or male to do the probing...

Never been keen on the cement mixer approach so prevalent in the movies... or those so keen they crack their teeth against yours *ouch*... or those who want to check out my gag reflex...

Lips are lovely... little nibbles on the lower lip... the odd slow velvety touch *wanders off somewhere happy* Mmmmmmm *cough* Where was I? Oh... Did I really tell you all that?

Kissing..Mmmmmm. being kissed can be very erotic. Letting him be in control works best for me.

Hello Persephone!
See my new thread, Guilty as Charged. I did a bit of groping and kissing on my first date. It is not unpleasant, yet not at all like kissing a girl. Guys are just rougher to the touch, rougher feeling, and big and bulky. It is surprising that woman like us! I did not get aroused (he did), but certainly found the kissing part interesting!

Not just the kissing scenes. When I watch a movie I seem to interject myself into the female role more than the male role. When I imagine what she might be feeling it is a lot more exciting than what he might be feeling.

With kissing in general when I allow myself to be kissed it is more enjoyable than being the initiator. But then I tend to enjoy most things when my partner is in charge. :)

Doesn't matter, they are actors Hon. That's what they get paid for. A real kiss is all about the feelings anyway, regardless of which side of the "fence" we are on.:)

My face is usually in the pop corn, waiting for the next big explosion to bring my attention back towards the screen!! :)

The kiss that really effected me in Watchmen wasn't that one. It was the one where Silhoette, the black clad member of the original team kissed the woman at the end of WW2 celebrations!

The author of Watchmen, Alan Moore also wrote V for Vendetta and apparently origninally intended V to be a Transsexual vigilante but the publishers balked on that.

True, "all men do this" "all women do that" is nonsense. Go out and experience the world and you'll find diversity.

THAT could have changed that movie from, "OK", to, " Classic epic", in my opinion, Batty! Short sighted producers!

During kissing scenes, I wonder how much the guy got paid who stirs the mac and cheese in order to get that sticky noise when they kiss.

That scene was so sexy! I wish I had Silk Spectre II's outfit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife resembles the actress and I've offered to have a custom one made for her. She thought I was kidding..........................

Haven't seen that movie yet, but want to. When watching a movie I tend to think of the heroine or the female costar and wonder how I'd feel in a similar situation. So romantic and lovely, although I know it's only a movie....darn it:daydreaming:

I wonder why she's wasting her charms on a man when there are so many lesbians to choose from.

I'm very curious about being kissed like that when I'm dressed. But when I was watching Watchmen.. I was all about wishing I could kiss Malin Akerman!!! :P thats just me though!

A great movie!! I was quite surprised by just how good.

I usually find myself identifying with the girl on screen.

I didn't see the movie yet, but even when I imagine myself in the receptive role, it's always with another woman. In my lifetime, I've only dated two women who occasionally took the initiative kissing; sure, I did my part as well, but what they did to me was about equal to what I was doing to them. So it was sorta like being the girl, a little bit at least. Yes, it's nice, having someone sitting on my lap, kissing, hugging, gently caressing each other, without necessarily having to plan the next seductive move all the time.

Well, don't you want to save the day in heels?
Then get the bouquet and hugs?
I do.
Anyone else?

I wouldn't go saying that, lol.
I have had girls who were all to happy to check if I had my tonsils removed or not.

I was to busy wishing that I could wear that latex sex suit, er' I mean costume to wonder what she was thinking. Latex is a privilege not a right. But when it's right.... It's REALLY right!!!

i agree, that was really unexpected. and to use an iconic Life Magazine picture for the basis of the shot was very compelling. though my self-image is based upon my attraction to women (as well as things femme) i have and do entertain fantasies as "the little woman" to a funny and kind stud. lol, oh well, so far it's stayed put in the mind where it likely belongs!

nice thread, thanks for starting it!
