I was reading online that several large companies are starting to cover SRS in their regular health plans :) :) :) The list included some interesting businesses ( Goldman Sacks, Microsoft, GM ). I was wondering if anyone here has had their employer cover their surgery ? And/or, if you know of a company that does offer that as part of their health plan.

Do you have a link to this list??? I'd love to see it.. Then I can know who to work for.
I was told FedEx covers it too.

I searched for 45 minutes earlier trying to find a link to the entire list ... no luck :(
Kodak, IBM, Microsoft and of course the City of San Francisco are all on the list. U of Michigan, the entire U of Cali system. It is spreading because they have learned that they do not get a lot of requests, it doesn't end up being expensive. If I remember correctly, San Fran was worried there would be a rush of people trying to work for them just to get surgery. But they have only had 3 in 6 years. Human Rights Campaign survey showed 67 organizations.

In the states, check out http://www.nctequality.org/
I'm sure Mara Keisling could recite the list for you. She is one bright woman.

I work for a huge insurance company and my entire transition including FFS and SRS would be covered if letter from my doctors and therapist.
