I had today booked off work as holiday and a lunchtime appointment to get out of the way, but a free afternoon with the sun shining. I had spent most of Saturday and Sunday dressed up but not brave enough to go out for walk as their were too many people about.

At lunch I bought a pair a femme sunglasses and with that finishing touch I was determined to go out this afternoon. I get home to find the gang from next door out front fixing a friends of theirs car (again!) and thus trapped indoors!

With the Sunglasses on I'm sure It would be very difficult to read me, and once away from my front door and into the woods out the back I would have no worries.

Looks like I'll have to wait till next week now!

Sounds like they need a distraction so you can slip past them. Maybe something like a call to 999 and having some fire engines show up whilst you make you way out  :p Just trying to improve your mood.

Its a bit late now, gone 4 o'clock so too many school kids around!

I had narrowed down to two the skirt I was gonna wear as well!

I suppose sunglasses on late evening looks a bit strange, but around 2pm they are di rigour!

Next week, I'm going get out early and perhaps have the problem getting back in!

Laura Jane..... I made my first outing in full female mode last week. I was scared and excited at the same time. We have all went thru what you doing and I know we all wish you luck on your first outing. I can tell youknow that it does start to get easier after the first one. In my case I drove 3 miles to a gas station, got out, filled up the truck, drove home, and the best part was I blended in. I did get a tip to the hat from a older gentlemen wearing a cowboy hat, which thrilled me to the max.

Keep the faith and we are looking forward to you outing story. if possible take some pics too.

I've been out after dark many times, this would be a proper daylight debut, where I know I will be seen!

Laura,

Your time will come and you'll know when it does. That the neighbors chose your day to fix their cars just meant you'd have more time to prepare yourself. Once you make that venture out, all others become easier, so long as you don't go too long in between. It's like anything we do in life, the more you do it, the better you become.

Keep your chin up! When you do get out, the experience will be that much more enjoyable.

Looking at your avatar, you look great and should have no problem blending it. When you do your outing, just be your self, act like you do this everyday, try and relax, and enjoy it.

With a smile on your face and a confident stance, I'm sure you would have just been another girl out on the town, Laura Jane! :)
I hope your next planned excursion goes better than even you expect. :)
