Last night, after we put the kids to bed, my wife said she wanted to go hear her friend's husband's band play in a local bar. I was deep in a book, and told her to have a great time. She then asked if she could wear some of my clothes. Go for it. So, she comes out in a new set of boot cut jeans and a cute top. She looked, of course, fabulous. And off she went. It's fun that our sizes are similiar.

We wear different sizes and my taste is a little more "****ty" than hers so she probably wouldn't ever ask but if she did I would be OK with it.

I think that's great!! I wish my wife and I were the same size.

Nice! :)
When I read the title I thought your wife was a CDer as well. Now I get it: she was wearing your femme clothes. Oh well. How normal.

That's great. My wife will put on my shirt or tee shirt and think nothing of it. If she was my size, I wish I could do that with some of her clothes. She has some great dresses that I would love to wear.

My wife and I are no where the same size in anything...but since I got my ears pierced and bought some regular earring she's already asking to wear those...so yeah sharing will increase between us I think....

My SO and I are not the same size but I do have some clothes that are loose fitting on me and she will borrow those occasionally. We have shared earings and nighties. It is great to be able to do this but more importantly is the support I have from her.

I agree Laura. It's the support that comes with the sharing that's really great. A kind of acknowledgement that all is well with what clothes are being worn around here... and... by my reckoning, you have good taste.

Sigh. Lucky you. I am still hopeing my wife will want to borrow something of mine. It would signal a small degree of acceptance. We are almost the same size, and with 10 dresses and 8 wigs...

Lorileah,
According to her, the band was iffy at best, but she had fun going out. Our youngest is 3, so that kind of thing is a big deal around here. The book is a biography of Robert Oppenheimer. I'm towards the end when he loses his security clearance for assoicating with communists when he was younger (typical witchhunt stuff). Gets a little tedious. Fascinating man in fascinating times.

My SO is always stealing my things, its about the only time my clothes sees the light of day. It does make me a bit jealous though, soon enough I'll be free of the chains that keep in locked up inside my own home, then she won't be able to wear them because I'll already be wearing them. :heehee::heehee:

That's great. My wife and I share clothes all the time. I wear them around the house she wears them outside.

My wife and I are different sizes and so don't get to share clothes, but we do share accessories and jewelry. Also, our shoe sizes are only a half size off, so if my zappos.com order comes in a bit small or hers comes in a bit large, the other can wear the misfitting shoes.

My wife waers some of my drab shirts for pj's, but we're too different in size to swap clothes. If we could my wardrobe would grow a lot faster!!

It can be an advantage. My wife and I are shaped differently, but wear the same size in tops. When shopping, she sometimes can't make up her mind what color to get. So I will tell her to get one and I will get the other and we can wear each others. Great way to expand the wardrobe without killing the budget!

Now that is really COOL - my spouse told me this weekend that I have more
shoes that she has - that I have more lingerie than she has ever had in all
of her life - and that I have more make-up and jewelry than she has had in
years - she has not yet asked to borrow anything
