Ok, i live with my parents but i know someone who dresses me up, but if i want to rent/buy clothes off her, i have to pay. So i'm stuck with where i can stash my gear, and i just can't store in my house, i did think of the attic but i may need the gear on a regular basis and that is no good, too much hassle and still at threat of being found. I have no intention of telling my parents, as it's not a full time thing, and i lead normal life.

I can only think of 2 good places i could hide them, but they're not fool proof at all. I was thinking of a swimming pool locker, but i think no, it will look too obvious and what if people check regulary for missing/replacing locker keys.

The best thing i can come up with, is stashing out in the wilderness, like in the middle of the woods. I don't know any other crossdressing folk. However, i am unsure of any that would provide good shelter if rainy or windy. I don't want to spend money on stuff then it's gone next time i come back. Also, it's not fool proof as somebody could pass by and take it, but it would be in the wilderness?

Any other ideas? I might have to do this regulary.

I've read the whole thread but i'm still stumped on what to do. Oh well, better find a crossdressing friend's/admirer's house for stock.

how about getting a trunk that locks? that way you have a safe secure place to store your stuff that is easy to get to when you need it.

I thought about that ages ago, but wouldn't take the risk of still having it under my parents noses. I have a feeling, my dad, if curiosity gets the best of him, he would smash it open...seriously lol.

Under your bed? If found, say they are a GG friends.
( That’s so rubbish I know)

You have a friend who dresses you up and rents you clothes, that sounds great!

my solution was to get two of those rollerboard suitcases and put all my stuff in there and then get a lock for the zipper. It works well and I only needed to buy one of these. I found a used one at Salvation Army for like $7.

This seriously made me go through my stuff. I had a GG friend help me and her attitude was like seriously "why would you wear this" so I definitely know I won't become one of these people that has like 50 pair of panties!

Sindy, not sure where you are in Scotland, but there must be a place there that will store things for you. It will cost a little, but not much and I'm sure will be worth it.

How much gear are we talking about here? If its a small quantity, try the back of some drawers or hidden under other things in boxes. If its a lot more, you may try buying a large, inconspicuous storage box and putting it under your bed/in a closet. Most people upon seeing one of those will suspect it's merely things you put away that you don't use anymore. :)

Maybe you should try to get some kind of container they could fit in, but that would look unassuming to anyone. An old computer casing or box of stuff. You could keep your stash items under a top layer of random stuff in a box Do you collect anything? Do you have boxes of whatever that you can turn one into your stash box?

I think you might be able to get away with keeping your stuff at your place if you can camouflage it well enough. The secret is to make the contain just look like something that no one wold be interested in checking out or throwing out. As I look around my computer room, there are several boxes and containers I could convert into a stash box. Luckily, I don't need one because my wife knows. The point is work with what you've got around. Something has to have some space that can be utilized. If you camouflage it well enough, then it's safe to keep in plain sight and there should be no problem.

Good luck with it.

Got any hobbies or what not were you could hide your stuff among it?

I am in college, but still keep stuff at my divorced parents respective houses. Are your parents the kind who snoop through your stuff? My mom used to be, so I hid my clothes in some old boxes in the basement. Now, since she doesn't snoop any more, I keep them in a garment bag in my closet. IT helps if you have other garment bags, or suits you can put around your ladies clothes.

At my dad's, I have pretty much the same setup. However, I also keep some stuff in drawers, like under my tshirts. If you think about it, how often do your parents look through your stuff? that really determines where you can keep all your goodies.

The fact that you said your Dad would break into a locked chest sounds like you have parents who don't respect your privacy. That in itself is alarming. When I lived at home with parents, who did respect my space, I hid alot of stuff in my closet. Some things were simply on a shelf under some general things and the rest was in a plastic tote that I labeled Tax Information. I figured if my parents ever saw that, they wouldn't bother to look because it is just papers.

As suggested by others, under the bed is good. Do your parents make a habit of snooping under your bed regularly? Do your own laundry, so mom has no reason to go into your closet. I don't know what kind of lifestyle you have nor do I know why your parents would be searching your room, but I would start by altering your own lifestyle first. Give them no reason to enter your room by becoming self-sufficient. Tell them that you understand that this is there house, but you would like some privacy and respect for space just as you do for their room. And if all else fails, seriously start looking for an apartment when you can.

another option is if you hae a chest of drawers with a hollow section under the bottom drawer, you can hide things under there

If you have your own car you could keep your things in the trunk. Make sure only you have a key for it and you should be safe.

There are 100's of really creative paces to hide your fem things but eventually... You'll rush and slip up and she will find something... Happened to me after 30 years... Sigh....

Okay, here's the secret... hide it in plain sight. For example, what I have is a halloween costume collection... a few storage bins with clothes and costume stuff in them. I keep my female clothes in bins with the other boxes. That way, if anyone asks, it is clothes for dressing up in costume...which it is. So no lies, no hiding. You could get involved in a some theater play or -hold some stuff- for a friend while they are moving...

Or get creative... inside furniture, behind or under a drawer...

To continue my comments from earlier...My mom was a snooper cuz she thought I was doing drugs (maybe with good reason...). So anything I had to hide like clothes, a small plastic baggie with green stuff inside, etc. would go behind books at the top of my bookshelf. Since my mom is short she couldn't see or reach there unless she had a ladder.

Your thread reminds me of fun times in high school...I wish I had found this site then, when I needed this kind of help!!!

Try in your tranny...Ha ha ha...Get it??.. umm guess you had to be there..I have hidden my stuff from inside the hole of a wall where the door knob went through (fished it out with fishing line and a trebel hook)..to under the carpet in the closet..

How old are you??
Do you have a car? or have one soon?
If you have very nosey parents, chances are very good they will find your stuff, it's just a matter of time, even with all the suggestions you've been told here..they will somehow stumble upon it..
You safest option is storing the stuff with the person that dresses you up..OR
Just tell your parents about your CD'ing and be done with it now before they catch you..

When I was a kid, I used to hide my stuff everywhere, but my most convenient spot was stuffed in my old clothes like pants, shorts, shirts that were on the very bottom in my dresser drawers that didn't get used much or were seasonal clothes, so if my mom put any washed clothes in my drawers, they went on top of my older stuff, but I would have been screwed if she decided to one day do me a favour and sort out the clothes I didn't wear or fit anymore..it never happened, but it was always a possibility, because she liked cleaning & organizing things...

Not sure about the British Isles, Europe, but here in the Colonies we have a mushrooming business in storage facilites. I rent a 8 x 12 locker, for my ever expanding Fem Stash. The 50 dollars per month, 600 per year, keeps my personal finery safe and off site. As Tamara says: I lied, so to keep up my deception, I choose to minimize the exposure and access.

Although I can't really recommend lying but you might get a better idea from this: How about storing the stuff in a couple boxes in your closet and just "suggest" the stuff belongs to a friend, or the friend of a friend, that's away on a long trip?
The better idea was already suggested and that's renting a self storage shed. We just emptied one and gave it up recently. It cost about $35./month for a climate controlled 5'x10' locker. Smaller ones are available and non-climate controlled are cheaper.
Have you thought about asking that "someone who dresses" you up to store your stuff at their place for a fee? A couple of old suitecases or a foot locker could be locked for security.
How about the trunk of your car? Assuming you have your own car!

To answer your questions, i don't have a car, and i don't know of any self-storage companies in my area. A few years ago, i did hide my wig and some make-up inside my bed, and also hidden in back of wardrobe, but i never felt comfortable with it around, and took to the decision not to do it again, becase i almost got caught, but i did something silly, i thought my wig was too long, so sniped off alot, and put it in bag tight, in outside house bin. However, my mum found it and questioned us of who did this, it looks like a wig. It was very embarrassing, but she came to the conclusion it was a men's wig i stole from work. So it didn't come to anything, but wouldn't like to be in that position again.

I'm too old to be made to look silly now.

Thanks for the answers folks, i guess the best option is find someone who store it at their place for free, as i may take it out often, depends. All thanks to the internet!

Heres a good one.On your bed you probably have a mattress and box springs.Usually on the box springs section its just a wooden frame with springs in it and the bottom covered with white fabric.Just take a pen knife and make a 10 inch slit in the fabric in the most inconspicuous, unaccessible or darkest area and hide your stuff through the slit.Make sure you don't leave anything hanging down.Maybe you could do it on a guest bedroom bed ,preferably with a dust ruffle on it,then if it is found, it would be a mystery.

Like others, I suggest off site storage. I currently hide it among hobby stuff (my breast forms are in a pistol case!)

Best of luck!

Have the girl that rents you clothes come over with the boxes. Then, you could tell the parents she thinks her room mate is stealing her nice clothes, and you're going to keep some for her for awhile until it blows over. If it's one or two boxes in the closet, they won't care.

How much clothing are we talking about here?? when I only had pantyhose I could hide that anywhere.. I played the drums for a while and haven't in quite some time.. anyway the bass drum was perfect for hiding everything I had.. and the rest of the drums stacked on top made getting into the bass drum a huge hassle.. I have a fairly big stereo and (always have) big speakers and I put some of my clothes in there.. (speaker cabinets) it takes an imagination to dress up and it takes the same imagination to hide your stuff.. if you want all your clothes in the same place or put something here, something there... hide in plain site sometimes works as well..

Not a great deal of clothing, but i would like the load to increase in the future! There's just some things i can't and won't talk about here, as it's not likely i would bring the person over to my house to pass her off as an excuse to store in my home. I think i did really put myself out there, i would find somebody who will store it in their place.

I used to have a large stero speaker and a few screws to remove the speaker from the box and put my stash inside the box behind the speaker,,,,try that
