I've been googling for an hour, and haven't found a viable support group in my neighborhood. Does anyone know anywhere in northern NJ or the city where there is a regularly meeting support/discussion group? This site has been an important to me, but I need people in person now. I'm very close to the Village.

Try the Gender Identity Project. They meet at the GLBT center on 13th st. The group is, however, on hiatus at the moment until June I believe.

I'm sorry. Does everyone LIVE in Brooklyn? It seems everyone I know lives there or is moving there. The lower east side has cleared out.

I'm moving to Brooklyn, after over 30 years away. But then again, I'm biased. It's where I grew up. :)

Oh. I kind of figured that was what you meant. No, not everyone, but I'm very fond of it. I'm not from here, I'm from Dallas originally. I feel that Brooklyn is the best of the five boroughs as far as where to live goes. Yeah, I used to live on East 4th several years ago. I had an awesome sublet, but so passes glory.
