Many times I get this strong desire to cd in the middle of the night. I get up with a strong urge and need to control and pacify myself back to sleep.

was wondering if any of you experience the same?

Yes, I've had that, this week as it happens, but just turned over and went back to sleep - eventually.

That's about the only "strong desire" I get any more. Go to the "room" lift my night gown, sit, do what is needed, go back to sleep.

When I was still deep in the closet I would get up in the middle of the night, sneak into the basement where I hid my stash of clothes, dress pretty, and admire my femme self in the mirror. After an hour or so, I could undress, go back to bad, and sleep contented the rest of the night.

Never, but that might have something to do that I'm always dressed in feminine cloths when I sleep as well.

No! I'm running one business too many and it's killing me - all I want to do at night is sleep, sleep, sleep.

I sleep much better when I am wearing one of my nighties , maybe if you are able you should try wearing something feminine to bed.

Stop eating pepperoni pizza before bedtime, or switch to decaf. :D

Oh and the "dressing for bed" thing isn't a bad idea either. lol

Not really. I just usually have the urge to pee and/or eat something to feed my nightmare.:heehee:

Heck no I wake up in the middle of the night and look at the clock and think "why am I awake?"

Karren has a punching bag by her bed so she can get up and fight it instead. You know how hockey players have that temper going. :heehee:

I hope not like John McCain, sleep two hours, wake up and cry your self back to sleep!

If I get the urge at night, which happens once or twice a week, I will usually put on a garter belt and stockings, and maybe a nightgown. Sometimes I just get back in bed and snuggle, but more often will go a bit beyond snuggling. A couple times a month "toys" get involved in the "bit more than snuggling".
Even though I get frustrated at times that my wife and I don't communicate as well as I'd like, I know I am very lucky man to have such a wonderful, understanding, and a bit kinky, wife:love:

I think the only time I wake up in the middle of the night is when I've worn a nightgown or negligee to bed, I roll too much and get all twisted up. I prefer to just sleep in panties.

Funny I used to be a flailer when we first got married.... Try explaining that to the ER nurse that you elbowed your wife in the head while sleeping!!!

When you are as old as I am (59) the only urge in the middle of the night is to pee. I'm too hot blooded to wear a night gown to bed. My wife is the opposite. In the winter she wears flannel gowns and socks to bed. Her feet are so cold. I'm on my side of the bed with a leg out over the covers. Leanne

Miss Elaine or Shadowline nightgown, long nylon, love it, sometimes with panty.

There's only one reason that I get out of bed at night...and I attempt not to wake up in the process. I haven't spent a restless night in years! When all you have to do is snuggle your partner to fall back asleep, life is terrific.

oh...you mean you folks wear something to bed....hmmm, what a concept!

Oh Boy!

If ever there was a post that spoke directly to me....

Step one: Observation
I've found that the times I am most 'RRAWWR RRAWWR" are those times after I've been asleep a couple hours...there have been PLENTY of times in the last 15 years that I've awoken with my desires at volcanic levels. I've found that it is after having slept for a couple hours that my desires peak.

Step Two: Try to figure out: "Why the heck this happens"
I've slept in the buff, in boy socks and undies, in silk, and in full-on nighties...only to find that the garments don't seem to have much of an impact on the phenomenon. I've awakened with my desires at stellar levels regardless of what I may or may not be wearing..as such, my selection of nightwear has no impact on these night-time desires.

Step Three (for me): try to make sense of the phenomenon.
It has become my personal belief that my state of mind at the time I go to bed, and perhaps the events of the day are the root cause of these late-night desires to ravage the entire Pittsburgh Steelers' Roster. If I've been shopping with my GF and/or her daughters, and spent then ENTIRE DAY in the best of femme boutiques w/o the opportunity to at least express my desire to wear these outfits, I am TOTALLY bunged-up at bed time, and this will influence my dreams which I suggest results in my awakening at my very own hosting of 'The Big Top'.

Step Four: Resolve the boiling-over of sexual desire/tension.
This can be done with the willing participation of your partner........................................... .................................................. ...............pardon me while I attempt to regain my composure......................................... .....................(like we can influence this)....................................but more likely is going to have to be dealt with in exactly the way that many of the girls ahead of me on this posting have said....sit up, take care of business, and go back to sleep. If you have the luxury of privacy, get dressed, preen before your mirrors, *then* take care of business. The bottom line is that the business has to be done to alleviate the tension, and if you can share this with your parnter, AWESOME, if not, just do it babe!

Bottom line in response to this post, YES, it happens to me (a lot) and what I've described above is what I've made of it, and NO you are not out-of-the ordinary...what matters is how you/we all choose to deal with it.

By the way, the cold-shower thing...I've taken enough cold showers, and enough LONG cold showers that I SWEAR TO GOD I've actually run OUT of COLD water!! It doesn't help.

Hugs,

(and if I wake up friskey in the night -I'll wish many of you were here)

No not really, but I do seem to dream about CDing quite often! :)

I think what I'm hearing in the op is that you can't "dress" for bed? Hence the need to get up and dress? That was happening to me a little while ago, but that was when I wasn't able to dress as much as I'd have liked to so it got a little pent up. Yeah I can relate if that's what you're talking about. If you can, wear something to bed, if you can't...hope you can operate on less sleep OR try to find some more opportunities during the day or before bed to feed the need (so to speak).

Wow, strange to see this thread today, I lost a couple hours of sleep this morning thinking about dressing. Guess I should try the nightie thing.

Yes! Big time! And it will usually last 2-3 days straight afterwards. I think it's stemmed from the fact that I used to lay in bed for hours on end creating stories of dressing in my mind when I was a lot younger.

Carrie,
If you enjoy wearing the nightie in bed, next you should try a garter belt and silky stocking WITH a long nightgown! That should take your experience to a whole new level.
I stated early in this thread that I do get up at night and dress, which was pretty typical up until the last week. Recently, my wife and I have have had a couple of discussions about my CDing that I've initiated. She's always been OK with my CDing, especially at night, but she's not one to really want to talk much about those things. Well about a week ago, both of us were laying in bed, "dressed up" and "snuggling". I asked her about her about how she felt about my "dressing" for bed and would she rather have me, or should I say my male personal, be in bed with her for our love making. She said she preferred me dressed!:D
Since then, I've come to bed all but one night wearing at least a garter belt and stocks. During this time I've also taken the plunge and uderdressed with the same twice to work and once with pantyhose! I've never done either before on a regular work day.
Right now I'm a very happy, both my male and female personal!

My check usually bounces & I'm right back to sleep.

Anyway, the dream state is powerful, is it not, especially under cover of darkness.
