SF BAY area support groups needed

Hi I live in the northbay and I am looking to join a crossdressing support group. I really want to come out of the closet and be around like minded people. I was so nervous about even writing to the forum. I thought this would be best place to get some suggestions and help. It is time for feminine me to blossom. Thank you Ladda

Are you looking for crossdressing-only support groups?

There are a number of different groups in the SF Bay Area and Sacramento. How far do you want to drive?

In Sacramento there is the River City Gems (http://www.rivercitygems.org/).
In San Francisco there is TGSF (http://www.tgsf.org/).
In Walnut Creek there is Diablo Valley Girls (http://www.diablovalleygirls.org/).
In Fremont there is I Love It Girl (http://www.iloveitgirl.com/).
Further south in San Jose there is Carla's (http://www.carlas.com/) and Rainbow Gender Association (http://www.transgender.org/rga/).

I attend a meeting of the Diablo Valley Girls once a year, they are a very friendly group and I am made to feel welcome every time I go.
I went to Sparkle presented by the River City Gems last year, it was fun and a friendly event, I even met Rachel.
