hey there everyone
I have a question. How many of you have trouble sleeping in female attire. I have been trying to sleep in my panties and a nightie but I am not able to sleep well for some reason. I feel so comfortable in the clothes when i wear them and is not sexual but for some reason I can not sleep. Anyone else have this problem?

Haha! I laugh because for years I had the same issue! Basically I was so excited from the clothes that my heart rate went up and stayed up....my mind also raced as I lied there so I would have to take the clothes off to be able to sleep.

The only way that I could sleep in women's clothing was if I was DEAD tired (like if I pulled an all-nighter).

For one reason or another, I'm able to do it now.

Hi, Brittany.
Not me - I love sleeping n a nightgown.Just got back from a trip with my wife where she bought me a short black & white nightie that I wore to bed for a week. It was extra special since I wore my breast forms (braless), lace wig earrings, and nails and woke up every morning feeling/looking like a woman. There's nothing like the feeling of a satin nightie agaisnt your skin - especially if your wife loves the feel too (no panties made it even more enjoyable in the "mornings!"

The cure all for not being able to sleep is to stay awake.. exactly.. might seem like the wrong thing to do or that there are better ways but the easiest way is to just get tired.. simple..

I get tangled up in the long ones, Brittany.:o
No problem with; tite bras, forms, tite undies, or short nighties. In fact, the low stimulation allows me to focus on going to sleep, better than if I wear nothing fem. :D
Many times in drab, at bed time, my mind starts wondering all over the place!

Well, I sleep in the most feminine thing I can imagine, the birthday suit!

Ok, now, while ya'll try to get that outta your heads, I'll go on. Honestly I roll around too much, like someone else above, so anything I'd sleep in would get tied up around me. Honestly, I'd really rather be caught running out of the house in an emergency butt naked than have flaming clothes. In either sense of the word.

Actually though, seriously, I caught just one tiny little ember once on my silk PJs from a piece of incense, and those suckers flared up like nobody's business! I was already grabbing at the fire extinguisher when my other hand slapped at it and put it out, but not before it melted to my skin! Well, obviously, I don't think they were pure silk, but silk-like nylon from Frederick's. I don't have them near me to check.

Anyway, point is, I can't stand cloying fibers near my body when I'm trying to sleep. Maybe pure silk would be different, but I always overheat when I sleep, so even in the middle of winter, I kick off the sheets.

Intially I was also too excited by the sensual feel of nylon and panties to get much sleep. But now I'm used to it. Panties have to be comfortable. Can't do thongs or control panties.

Tried a few time sleeping with bra and forms, but end up waking up and needing to take them off. They start to feel too tight.

Have only slept in nighties and panties except for a half dozen times when I have been on a road trip and rooming with a co-worker or friend the past couple of decades.

I've been sleeping wonderfully in a Roots women's T, panties and sometimes a soft bra. It feels so comfy and warm. I think the T-shirt is what helps the most. When sleeping in something silky I never slept all that well.

Maybe that's why my wife loves her flannel pajamas so much :)

The only problem I have is geting tagled up in one that is floor length. I'm more comfortable sleeping in my gowns and have more than my wife does. By the way she sleeps in a pair of old shorts and a T-shirt.

You just need to do it long enough for it to become the norm!

Sorry to hear about your discomfort. I love to wear a nightie to bed, and when I do, I sleep as well or better than when I wear male PJs. Sometimes I wear panties, usually with shorter nighties, and sometimes I don't. Either way I love the silky, satiny feeling of the nightie on my body.

i like to sleep in anything femme. the one problem i remember is one mentioned above, long nightgowns bunched up around me.

sissystephanie
04-21-2009, 11:25 PM
I always wear either panties or a nightgown to bed! My nightgowns are all satin and come just below my knees. However, if need be I can sleep wearing anything or nothing. After 4 years in the navy on board aircraft carriers, sleeping is not hard!!

BTW, everybody rolls around during sleeping, at least according to the sleep experts. Most people just don't know they are doing it. Wearing satin, you just slide around!

Tried it a couple times, but it was before I really accepted myself and was scared to death someone would discover me...so it was hard to sleep with my mind racing like that. I did fall asleep one time and woke up forgetting that I had dressed up and it took some time to get orientated...that was an odd feeling. One way to get sleepy is to drink a bit, but it doesn't help the following day if you go for too much.

Normally, I sleep in a short, sleeveless nylon nightie that is more like a slip and matching nylon knickers. I sleep like a log but then I've never had difficulty with sleeping :). Sometimes I alternate with an ankle-long male viscose nightshirt. I haven't slept in pyjamas now for ages.

I used to be scared of getting caught while sleeping or having my young teenagers walk in wanting something and finding Dad dressed as Mom. But now it's just my wife and I and I don't have any more fears of getting caught. I sleep nude or in a nightie.
Before I discovered a more reiable breast I used a couple of water filled balloons. I was woke up in the middle of the night with a bursted breast. Kinda weird and wet awakening. Is funny now.:)

The only time I don't sleep en femme is when I'm visiting friends or relatives. I prefer a long cotton nightgown and don't find it bunches up etc. In winter i generally wear women's pj's my wife bought me. I have summer pj's my wife made for herself but never wears & i find them great if it is a little cool. I'd ditch the panties, I find them too restricting. Feel good but don't sleep well in them. Tried wearing a bra etc a few times (when I'm home alone) but keep waking up every hour or so. Maybe you just need to persevere or try different nighties. Lots of others seem to like satin but I find it too hot.

Look for some Bamboo night wear. I know I know sounds funny but the stuff helps with the "night sweats"

I always sleep in either a pair of tricot PJs or night gown, with a pair of snug undies.
Last summer had to visit my brother, and wife wanted me to wear a pair of, (her words) "Real PJs", she went out and bought me a pair of cotton striped guy PJs. Worst three nights I've spent in a long time. eeeeewwww!!!!

I can even sleep wearing a wig. I don't thrash about when asleep, I wake up in the same spot as when I fell asleep. And, it's kind of nice waking up sort of in female mode.

Ahhhh- yeah I sleep half the time in nylon nightie, bra, pantie , garter belt and stockings. The erotic yet totally comfortable feeling is indescribable. During colder months I feel the stockings keep my legs warm.
Only problem sleeping en -femme is well how do i say it.. the flag is up at full staff most of thre night, which in itself is stimulating but sometimes there is a physical compulsion to take care of certain needs to go back to sleep comfortably. And no its not to go pee.
Anyone else react to their "maleness" while enfemme at night.
Hey...its our body reacting to this stimulation. Is it all our fault.

I had a fit sleeping in my girly stuff initially... I ended up realizing my cotten panties were too tight for my bits. I switched to some taller satin panties to sleep in at night and problem solved.

Usualy I just throw a sports bra on over that with my b-forms and a half-slip. Comfy and cozy

I have slept in panties for many years now. Sometimes with just a T-shirt and other times with women's PJ's (for quite a while last fall til my wife put them away for the winter after she asked me why I was wearing them!).
A couple of nights I wore a camisole instead of a T-shirt which was no problem because I wake up first.
All in all, no problems sleeping.

My wife noticed that when I am not wearing a cami, full slip or nighty I do not sleep very well. Alot of tossing and turning. When I am wearing something.....lights out. So the last few times I did not wear anything other than my panties, she did not sleep because of my tossing and turning. The next night I went to go to bed and did not have anything on, she told me "Put on a cami or slip....something. I gotta get some sleep!" So I guess I have to wear something girly to bed every night now. Bummer.................:D

I always thought the ultimate sensation would be satin sheets on a water bed with the water warmed just enough to take the chill off - but then I wondered if you would need seasickness pills or would you just slip right out onto the floor? :heehee:

I have a set of satin lace pajamas that I sometimes use and almost packed for my last trip, as well as a pair of mens' silk pjs I sometimes use as they are less obvious. I've also tried sleeping in several borrowed nightgowns and haven't yet decided if I like those better, but I've started shopping for one or more.

I've done the satin sheets on a water bed thing. Couldn't sleep for all the sliding around. Spent half the night just hanging on. Felt good at first but after an hour of slipping all over the place, I felt like a hockey puck without the getting hit.

For me, I sometimes wear a long nightgown and usually panties to bed. Several times a week I'll wear a garter belt & stockings, but whatever I wear, my wife likes it more when I snuggling "dressed" than with PJs that I still wear a couple times a week. Of course, I wouldn't want to disappoint the little lady, know do I?:D

The stockings, with a garter belt, are a more common part of my attire in the cold winter time, either in bed or under my slacks. Typically in the colder winter months when we'd have some shopping or whatever to do in the evening, I'd do a quick change, underdressing if garter belt and stocking! Of course I'd leave them on when later when going to bed. I would want my legs to get cold!:D

For those of you who wear forms to bed, along with a bra of course, haven't you ever read the instructions that came with the forms? "DO NOT WEAR IN BED!" When you roll around during the night, you are crushing the forms and shortening their life span! Besides, wearing a bra to bed, with or without forms, is not healthy! Like all parts of your body, your breasts need to breathe and night time when you are relaxed is the best time for that to happen. A bra restricts them too much. That bit of info came from a lady MD friend of mine. She knows that I am a CD.

Fortunately, being a natural 40 B, I don't have to wear forms. Since getting that advice from my doctor friend, I never wear a bra to bed either!:)

Thanks for the info, Sissy. Something to consider.

I usually sleep in a bra, forms, panties, garters and stockings. I encase these in a slinky feeling nighty that varies from belt to ankle length and of various materials. I sleep very well, even better than in the buff which used to be my normal.

I used to have the same problem just wearing a bra and panties, but now it feels so natural that I just doze off. I have a long pink nightgown that I love to wrap myself up in. And my wife likes it that I'm more "snuggly" that way.

It can happen! Just a couple of weeks ago I crashed early after a long day at work. I wear my forms, bra, and nightgown to bed every night. My daughter came in after I was asleep (and I am a heavy sleeper) and tried to hug me good night. I guess I was pushing her away and trying to keep the covers over me saying no or something to that effect. My wife had to tell me she was upset that I pushed her away. So I had to have a talk and tell her that I sleep so heavy, I don't know what I am doing. Yikes! Don't need to be making the kids upset.

For those of you who wear forms to bed, along with a bra of course, haven't you ever read the instructions that came with the forms? "DO NOT WEAR IN BED!"

I have a set of PALs and they take a fair beating. Since I got the softer forms, the PALs have been relegated to sleeping and exercising.

I never had that problem I sleep every night in a night gown, but no panties, they do cause me a problem at night

I don't have any proper sleep wear but I do like a nice pair of panties in bed. It works well in that I can slip some pajama pants on if I need to get up in the night(I live with my parents who I am not out to) but reading all the comments I think I might go shopping for a nightie.

I sleep in my panties and night gowns, or a night shirt. I have no problem sleeping in them. There great. :)

I replied to this thread a few nights ago and said to ditch the panties but so many seem to wear them I thought I'd try again. They lasted about 2 hours and then off. All my bits seem to like to flop around. Slept like a baby after that.

I've been sleeping in long gowns for maybe ten years or more...very comfy and my sweetie and I usually have the same colors on!

There are nights that for some reason I can't fall asleep wearing a nightgown. In most cases though I sleep very well. last night I wore a very pretty satin short gown and slept for almost 11 hours. I do sleep every night in panties. Seems odd not to wear panties when I sleep.

I did not sleep well in the beginning either but I have no problems now. Give it time.

I feel I have to wear my panties and some sort of women's something in order to get a good night sleep. it could be as simple as wearing the women's t shirt I wore that day but yes i have to wear something women's.

I feel that I sleep better when I wear lingerie, or nighties or other feminine things.

Thought I'd chime in because I just slept in female attire last night... still wearing it now, but will have to shed it in a few minutes to begin my two-hour Sunday morning exercise routine. :( I hate exercising.

Anyway, I slept fully dressed in a black mesh spaghetti-strap top, faded black denim miniskirt with frayed edges, my one of my wife's black bras, and black panties. I originally crawled into bed with fishnets on as well, but Mrs. H. asked me to remove those because they felt weird against her legs. No problem - I was still dressed how I wanted to be. My wife made the comment "No real woman would want to dress to bed like that." I told her that I'm not a "real woman - just a part time t-girl". We both laughed a little and she rubbed my leg with hers for a while until falling asleep. She actually enjoys when I go to bed dressed like this even though it is something she prefers not to do herself.

I usually sleep naked, but it's not uncomfortable for me to sleep like this. The clothes are comfortable. It is actually very relaxing and I always get a good night's sleep when I do this (maybe once a month or so). I'm going to have bra pattern skin-indent visible on my chest and sides for the next 6 hours, but oh well. :heehee:

I normally sleep nude, at least until I got Dark AnGGel to rent a bedroom and a bathroom.
We share the rest of the house.
'M' is in another bedroom but he has to use my bathroom.
Both know about my CDing.
I now normally sleep en femme, normally it's either my Betty Boop or Tinker Bell PJs. occasionally it is bra, forms , and patties or t-shirt, boxers, and white men's work socks.
Yes, even when I first started and was using water filled balloons as forms, I have slept with them on and I have NEVER had them leak or break. Unless I am very troubled I literally sleep like a log. I awake in the exact same position as I was in when I went to sleep.
Oh and I do snore loudly and do not wake myself.

As much as wearing a nightgown to bed excites me I sleep very soundly. Some times too soundly. Like the other day I had just finished working the graveyard shift and got home made breadfast for the kids a SO, took my son to school and came home and put my nightgown on and panties, and went to bed. I woke up to the sound of my wife getting something out of her drawer, lucky for me I had the covers up to my neck and she never knew. If she had seen me it would have been all over for me .
I have night mares about this exact thing happening but she sees me in them, but I still wear them just cause I sleep better.

No not at all. I go to sleep every night wearing a bra and panties and a nighty. I am most comfortable dressed this way and it seems so natural for me to do this.

I have slept in short satin nights may times. I love the feel but I tend to get tangled up in the long satin ones. Sadly those are the ones that I want to slpeep in.

Last night I was putting together a sexy lil' black & white "bedroom" outfit with an orange short wig, black choker, white thigh highs with black pokkadots, white short nightie with black stars, and fell asleep with 7" platform b&w mary janes on (ouch!). The dog pushed my door open some time in the night, then my roommate & her bf told this morning they saw me when they got home :o. They said I looked like a slumbering porn star :heehee:

The thought of sleeping in one of my silky/satiny nightgowns (the longer the better), along with panties, bra, thigh-highs, and perhaps breast forms, while wearing perfume (Chantilly!) and lipstick, is wickedly sensual to me.

Unfortunately for me though, this leaves me too horny to get any rest; and my temperature also rises to an uncomfortable level. So I end up stripping everything off to get some sleep.

And the nights when I'm all dressed up this way, and the wife and I are having mutual fun before going to sleep, the fantasy of staying this way all night (with the wife telling me all the while she's going to keep me this way for the night) just adds to the excitement of the moment; but my temperature goes ballistic right after we have both "arrived", and I end up stripping down immediately to cool off again.

So I rarely get the all-night pleasure of being surrounded by my favorite sensations...

At first the excitement of the silky material rubbing against me made it hard for me to fall asleep. Now it is no problem, I love sleeping in pantie and night gown, sometimes i keep my hose on too. Soe times when I travel I will sleep in the outfit that I wore out.
I stayed out too late once and was in a hurry and forgot that I was still wearing eyeshadow, I know the girl at the breakfast counter noticed, she kept starrring at me,thats when I realized what it was, but she never said a word. It was a good thing I was staying at the same hotel where my meeting was.

[QUOTE=Megan70;1695387]Ahhhh- yeah I sleep half the time in nylon nightie, bra, pantie , garter belt and stockings. The erotic yet totally comfortable feeling is indescribable. During colder months I feel the stockings keep my legs warm.

Megan puts it well. I love to sleep in leotards under my pantyhose, or panties under pantyhose, but the pantyhose I go to sleep in almost always need to be replaced, mmmmm

All this talk about long gowns, babydolls, and how everyone can't sleep. Have you thought of spending a few nights with your hair in rollers like a lot of women do in "real life"?

First time I started sleeping in nightgowns, I slept so much better. Never looked back. I even use it if I sleep in a tent in the wilderness:heehee:
