I bought the first pair of shoes about a month ago and started wearing them to work. Nobody noticed - or at least nobody said anything. I got bold and bought the second pair a few days ago and wore them to work. Nobody said anything either except when I got home an my girlfriend noticed them. She was not so pleased - she didn't say much but I could tell she didn't like the idea. Do you think they were over the top? I work in an office that is mostly filled with technical type guys. Note that nobody at work knows about my CDing. Maybe they do now...

They look almost like mens shoes too.

Don't ever let people at work know you crossdress! I never lasted long when they knew about me!

Hi MissPinchy,

I love those shoes - especially the second pair. I will admit they are quite feminine but I would totally wear those to my job as well. ;)

Sorry your girlfriend wasn't more approving of them - I think they look great, even if worn en drab.

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, do it. Who cares as long as it doesn't effect your work?

I'm unfamiliar with the concept of "too girlie." Is there such a thing?;)

How much did you pay for those shoes?

I finally got my first 3 pairs of womens shoes from Salvation Army. 2 brand new white pumps for $2 each and a slightly used blue loafer for $1.25 ! I guess I'm a 9.5 M (my 2 pumps) but my loafer is a 9.5 B. I got to try on these shoes while no one was looking!

I'm an 8.5 mens, so I guess I should be getting size 10 womens for more comfort.
