Today, at a GAP store in NorCal:

Salesgirl: "Those are cute."

Me: (Slowly turning around, quizzical look)

Salesgirl: "Your shoes. Where did you get them?"

Me: (Looking down sheepishly at my canvas espadrilles) "Payless."

Salesgirl: "Oh...wow!"

Me: "Yep!"

Just goes to show, you don't have to spend a lot of money, and I can't wipe this stupid smile off my face :D

Great pic Cissy, one of your best. The natural lighting, the pose and you make it a definite 10. I have never had someone comment on my shoes, but I have had several women compliment me on my jewelry, which all comes from Claires, Icing, Penny's, Sears or a thrift store. Go figure. I don't think I paid more than $15.00 for any individual piece. I really do enjoy receiving those compliments.

I get all or almost all of my shoes there.. and I know there are those who say payless get less but for me I do know what I am getting there.. for one thing the size is reliable.. I can get my size 9 1/2 shoes in just about everything they have and the shoes fit fine.. they might not be perfect but I like them..

I buy a lot of my shoes at Payless but I never thought to buy my fem shoes there. I will have to look them over.

Very nice and as many have said you look so comfortable and at ease. One of my neices complimented me on my shoes also and yes they came from Payless as most of them have. As far as the smile, I hope you never loose it. Have fun and huggs to you.
