recommendations for a girl starting transition second time

its jessica here. i am a gurl living in malaysia. i have nursing qualifications but working in a restaurant now.

4 years ago, i started my transition after an inspiring trip to the USA.....but i failed miserably

now, i shall be going to the USA again (san francisco to be specific) and i hope this time, i will get it right. its sort of a pilgrimage and a learning tour. i need to get the right info before i start experimenting myself with my transition. i am over 30 and cannot get it wrong again...ultimate goal is srs in thailand in 2010

well.....
where can i meet other transgendered girls in san francisco?
where can i meet guys interested in girls like me there too?
there are places where they do makeovers for crossdressers ( i am not a CD but i met many transgendered girls in a place like that in chicago before) and are they recommended?
any decent parties to go to ?
most importantly, where can i get free information and maybe a chat ?

Hi Jessica,

I've never been to SF, so I don't know much about activities there. I would imagine stuff like that shouldnt be too hard to find there. I'm a room monitor at a very friendly, fun and supportive chatroom, at tgguide.com There are a few people in California who visit fairly regularly.

I don't know what kind of informaton you're looking for. Is it general transitioning advice? If so, tsroadmap.com is a pretty well known site with lots of helpful and practical information and links to other sites. I know alot of the girls here are familiar with it.

Be careful with guys while you're transitioning. Sadly, many don't have your best interests and goals in mind. Good luck with your adventure, Hunny. Have fun, and most of all, be safe.

For friendly environment you can try Martunis. For support groups there is TGSF, any thing else you will have to travel. Far as meeting guys , honestly its very hit and miss.
