VS sizes

hi all,

first of all, i am so sorry for starting yet another "what's my size" thread, but i really want to be sure...

this is the first time i'm buying from overseas.

i measure about 36 (chest), 29 (waist), 34 (hips)

based on experiences from buying clothes in singapore, i thought i should get L.

i was eying some VS chemise on ebay. checking the VS website, however, i see that L is 39.5 - 41 (chest), 31.5 - 33 (waist), 42 - 43.5 (hips)

so would L be too big for me? or would it be ok?

ps., i don't know my dress size too as the clothes/underwear i buy are either freesize or in S/M/L...

edit: btw i'm abt 1.8m (or 5.9feet) tall if that would matter

I'm a 34 - 30 -34 and my Victoria Secret medium chemise is big for me. But maybe a small size would be too small.

I'm a 35-35-42 and I bought a pair of PINK PJ's at VS, size large and they fit perfectly.

so maybe i should get medium? hmm... is it safe to follow the size chart?
