So I think I may have taken a step a week or so ago.
With the exception of costume partys I tend to keep this "hobby" at home. But I wanted a pic with my car (5.0L Mustang) I got all dressed up in a Mustang t-shirt, daisy dukes, suntan hose, Peggy Bundy shoes, did my makeup, and my long red hair, and took my camera and out the door I went. My first stop was at this little convience store where I usualy go to get my lotto ticket. The woman that owns the place kinda giggled, "What are you doing?!?" So I just said I'm going to be Daisy Duke at a car club party. THe store was empty, so we chatted a bit about how i should have put a confederate flag on my car and what not.
My tank was nearly on vapor, so I stoped at a gas station, and didn't seem to get any stares that I noticed anyway. While driving through town, I didn't seem to get any reactions at stop lights either.
So I drove arround a local state park, untill I found a deserted place, and set up for a couple pics. On my way out I passed another car at very low speed (rough road) going the other way, made eye contact with the other driver and he didn't seem to react.

Sounds like you had fun! Wearing Daisy Dukes is pretty brave! Any chance we get to see a picture or two?

your Avatar pic looks fine ,I see no reason people would stare. You look like your look passes fine. I think you pass better then me but..... Why did you lie to the girl. You should have told her your CD.I bet she would have been fine , and you might have found a girl friend to shop with etc. Unless your Girl friend would not like that.lol. If there's no one around , and they ask you , be honest with them. 99% if the people I tell are more then fine with it.
I way I see it is, when you tell someone your teaching them about us , and not letting Hollywood do it wrong for us right? since I don't pass well I think when someone READS me they now have see (one of us) in real life and are enriched for having see me. So next time be proud to be CD and say YES I AM CD AND DAM PROUD OF IF. And can I get a discount on the thing I just bought. LOL. I did that once and got 10% off LOL. So have fun the next time out and be PROUD stick that chest out walk tall look people in the eye and have fun , HUN. :hugs: :canada:

I wear cutoffs around the house that are that short. My daughters have said that I wear them too short. I have gone out in the front yard wearing them. But no father than that. I think they are very comfortable.

Besides the soap suds and squirting hose, the flag is the only thing missing from that pic. Oh, the pic has to be of you actually washing your car, you know. Congrats, girl and lots of fun.

Hugs,
Alice

No,, I think Daisy only washed the car in the one eppisode when the boys bailed out, and let her yellow Challenger go over a cliff... "Ya-all be careful with that car, I just washed it" Wow was that ever hard on the wash job!!! Enter the Jeep, Dixie. I allways thought it was cool waching her suntaned panyhosed legs double clutch that Jeep. (and for the record, I can double clutch my truck in heels to)
But, come to think of it, she did drive Unkle Jesse's truck alot. Maybe I shouldda done my Daisy Duke with my F-150. (though mine is forest instead of white)
