Hi, noticed this article online. It has nothing to do with being TS, but it does have a nice list of foods that are high in Potassium, which some of us are trying to *avoid*. Thought it might be useful ?? Take a gander. The advice the article gives is probably good for all of us to read by the way ;)

WOW!!!! That really opens my eyes. After reading about spiro, if you are on it, you might be able to eat cardboard:eek: I knew about banannas and baked potatoes, but the rest of that list is surprising...BJ

Tomatoes aren't on that list, but they're about as high as bananas. And you can see avocados have more potassium than bananas. One day when I was taking a rather high dose of spiro I had about half of an enormous tomato, then I went to Chipotle in the afternoon and had a bunch of guacamole and half a quesadilla. That evening I got massive leg cramps in my hamstrings which I have never had before in my life.

hmmmmm...I ate something last week that gave me killer leg cramps at night...will have to watch this...
The research lab next to me is doing work on the sodium potassium pump...will have to take a new interest in what they are doing...:heehee:
