The othe day I had a quick errand to run. So I spent about a half hour taking my dark pink nail polish and scrubbing the makeup off my face. When I got home I spent another 45 minutes putting my makeup back on and painting my nails. So a five minute errand cost me almost an hour and half going and coming. But it's worth every minute. I love being a girl.

Sometimes it is and some times it isn't... I've been on trips where I was messing with makeup and partly dressed and forgot something in the car or had to run get something and I've just thrown a wig on and gone out.. The funniest one was when I was working on a makeup look for a Disney makeup competition.. And had the Snow White look down pretty good even the red bow in my hair, royal blue top... And I had left something in my truck so threw on some slacks.. And a jacket.. And walked through the lobby.. No one even gave me a second glance.... looked like Snow White on her day off!! Obviously I'm more lazy than you are!! Lol

Sometimes it takes me so long to get ready and I ask myself if it's even worth it. Then, me and my wife go out and have a good time and it seals the answer of "yes, it's totally worth it".

Seems to take me about an hour to get reqady and an hour to clean up. Yeah, sometimes I question if it's worth it. But, wow. what a feeling when I'm en-femme! I love the experience. I'm slowly gaining more courage to be out. Last Saturday, I went through a McDonalds drive through and stopped to pump a tank of gas while en-femme. I was actually not just excited but proud of myself.

I wore my bra to Walmart the other day.. the day before that I took it off as I went to the driveway entry drive thing there as you approach towards said same.. took it off one day and wore it the next.. why yes one day and no the other?? good question.. I think I think too much.. or think not enough whatever or whichever.. my point is.. what's the question.. oh yes, worth the hassel.. no..er rather yes it is worth the hassle.. I spelled it wrong there prior to the former but oh well.. anyway I was wearing the bra in the store all the time thinking I can tell where the straps are on my back, the shortener (?) was right there under my shoulder blade.. cool.. I was in line for ten minutes at check out.. did I care.. not really.. but was freaking out sort of kind of..

I LOVE my girl-time! :)
But it takes me a lot longer than 45 minutes to get all made up. I'm not very skilled at doing my own makeup up yet, and it takes a LOT of makeup to transform my ugly man-face into Gabrielle's. I can't wait 'till I have the process down to just 45 minutes! lol
If I had to run a quick errand, I'd probably just do it en femme... depending on what it was. Either that, or to hell with the errand - it can wait! :heehee:

I do this virtually every day. Get up in the morning, put on the blouse and skirt, eye liner and shadow, lip stick and ear rings of choice and then get the coffee ready. Make breakfast and read the paper. Oooops time for work, strip, wash, and dress for the day.
But thing I find is I feel so much more calm if I do this than if I just popped out of bed and dressed for the day. A girl has to feel pretty when she can.

I enjoy being a girl also. I am home here tonight totally dressed to the nines and feeling so fem. I think that I would have simply gone out enfemme to run my errand.

Girlie time is so special. Every minute is precious. I wouldn't trade it anything in the world.

Sasha, I have never been that far north as Jill so I can't be sure of the acceptance level in Menominee. Down here in my neck of the woods I would have run that errand fully dressed with makeup and painted nails. If it's at all possible, try doing your next errand dressed. You might be pleasantly surprized.

Years ago when I had the opportunity to dress completely for about three weeks straight I was interrupted for about an hour during that time because I had to go pick up my wifey's paycheck. Everything came off and into drab. Thought I could get away with not taking my false lashes off but even behind sunglasses they were too noticeable. Couldn't wait to get back home and back into my girly things.
When my three weeks were up I took a long walk in my favorite outfit and when I got home I bawled for over an hour because I had to start living as my guy self again.
I live in between JiFem9II and Sasha and CDing isn't exactly the thing I want to be seen doing during the day. lol

It's always worth the hassle to be the girl you want to be.
