just got home from trachea shave and under eyes lift....i didnt want to jump right into ffs until i "knew" i was ready but i left feeling i wish i did !!!

The surgery was barely painful alothough i have had some percocets (surgery was yesterday) and i've seen a little swelling around both areas...i found the folks at boston medical treated me wonderfully and they all asked if i liked being called michele or ...., i am so HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY to continue my feeling of moving forward and i think back to january....since then i've had well over 100hrs of electrolysis, my adams apple is gone, my 5 oclock shadow is gone and my eyes are gonna look great and i'm a nose job and probably a brow shave away from passing....my hair is longer and i'm lucky to have no male baldness so i'm getting closer and closer..

its funny , the hormones calmed me down so much i dont feel this need to rush anymore and i think that's good so i can get folks ready and get myself ready to do this....(the leave of absence at work has helped too)

anyway....just thought i would let everybody know...i'll post some pics if i have the guts!!

WOW Michele, that sounds great ! It also sounds like you sailed thru well - good to hear. Did they do this outpatient or did you stay in the hospital ?

100 hrs of Electro since Jan ? Did you need the percocets for that !!

lydocaine....i am not working so i let beard grow for 6-8 weeks...then i get "cleared"....each clearing gets easier but the first two were brutal and took over 100 lydocaine shots...its by far the fastest and cheapest way to do it if you can swing it work wise...

by july i should be hair free (in fact i am almost am now)

Congrats indeed on your progress! :) I note you said Boston -- and other asked for costs.. I would be very interested in information on who you went to /and/ the costs as well.. I'm in the Western MA area myself.

I am almost one year into electrolysis, and I love it. Makes me feel much younger and much more feminine. Congratulations.
