This is a hair thread.

I don't really consider this crossdressing, but it involves prettiness all the same (:

Solike, I have hair. And my hair does not do what I tell it to. It never has.

Despite this I grew it out. My bangs reach my cheen and whatever you call the back reaches past my shoulders.

n_n yay

But, it's naturally thin, and while it's not hard to make it look fuller, it always seems untamed. It just kinda goes where it wants, and looks frazzled and tired ):

And I look at girls on the street or wherever, and some photos of the gurls here, and they have that shiny shimmery healthy look.

I want that look
but don't know how to come about it :/

Help?

This is what my hair looks like as of a couple weeks ago -> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/|Z|Ryuken/Zken%20pics/o_o.jpg

What do you use to wash and condition it? Might be a lack of vitamins

But I'm Flintstones kid! D:

Um I use Herbal Essences, and have useda variety of conditioners ranging from Aussie to Pantene Pro V, and on average it looks way fuller than that pic, but it just gets tangled so easily and it's unnaturally dry like it's been damaged by the few times I colored it >.>'''

When I condition I usually leave it in forlike 5-10 minutes. Is that too long?

Well it may have been damaged if you colored it. I would say use only one conditioner, perhaps for damaged to dry hair to help moisturize it. I think ten minutes is a bit excesive to leave it on though. You know what they say about too much of a good thing. Just get into a regular habit with one conditioner and stick to that for a while. The results may not show right up, but your hair needs time to get adjusted and (pardon the pun) conditioned. It could also be the mix messing things up say with herbals shampoos and Pantene.

Use a separate conditioner and apply it directly from the base of your ponytail to the ends. This will help with volume as well as shine and reduce split ends.
I've used only Pantene for years now and I get compliments on my ponytail's shine and bounce from biological females occasionally.
