It is my nephew's birthday today and I tried to phone my brother earlier in the day to wish him happy birthday but nobody was home so I left a message.
But tonight I went out in girl mode to meet up with some other t-girls in brisbane and my brother phoned and left me a message that they were home now and if I wanted to phone, my nephew was up (he's 2 and this was 9.30pm).
So while at the cafe, I phoned (thankfully it wasnt a video call) and my brother could hear the noises in the background and he asked if I was at work, I said no I was just out for dinner and left it at that.
I've learned not to volunteer unneccesary information
