My feet got a compliment

I was helping some female friends today. I was bare footed, no polish, or coloring on the to nails. But my feet where shaved of any hair. Not that I have much there anyway.

One of my friends said "You have very nice feet... for a guy!"
I just smiled and said "Thank you for the compliment."

She doesn't know I dress, but I thought that was a cool comment and it made me happy to hear it.

This past weekend after doing some yard work I shucked the boots and socks for open toed sandels and then my daughter called for help. I keep my toes polished and when she seen them she said "Dad, you need to freshen your polish". I then said thanks and moved on. Does she know, maybe but didn't say anything.

I had just the opposite experience.

Partly genetic, but hugely aggravated by wearing high heels over the years, I have unsightly bunions. One day, while I was changing into my bowling shoes, one of the ladies saw them and said in a loud voice for all to hear..."Look at those bunions, this is the first time I've seen bunions on a guy!!".

Ever since, I've tried to change shoes very discretely:o.
