Several years ago an article in the national newspapers, a case where a schoolteacher wassuspended from her job for making two boys wear wigs and lipstick for bullyimg girls.

Many parents, including the boy's mothers supported the teacher.

I don't remember it but the idea of addressing bullying through humiliation - which is of course bullying in itself - seems utterly wrong. Surely the teacher had other options?

I don't remember the article but bullying by teachers is as abhorrent as pupil-to-pupil bullying. It's also illegal.

Some parents don't always see the flp side of such punishments
