View Full Version : How much time do you spend crossdressed each year?

I did some simple math. I took the average amount of time I spend each week crossdressed and multiplied it by 50. Yeah, I know there's 52 weeks in every year, but there are time when dressing isn't convenient or isn't going to happen. So I cut myself some leeway there and came out with some stunning figures. (No, my figure isn't stunning!) :D Anyway, it came out to about 19 full days - 24 hours each - every year that I spend dressed completely as a woman. If you figure that one might only spend the waking hours dressed, that figure goes up a bit, to perhaps 26 days or more.....that's nearly a month! So it's nearly 1/12 of my life.

I know some of you spend even more time than I do dressed. And you 24/7 girls won't find this as any big deal, I'm sure. But I'm not 24/7, and I'm not planning on transition. So to me, this is quite a bit of time!

How 'bout you? Try it. You might just surprise yourself.

I'd guess about 3 hours per month with 2 or 3 months without any opportunity to do so at all... so that brings me to a whopping 27 hours per year!

Pretty pathetic really...

Whew! A great question, but the math would make me dizzy! As is, I think I have to lie down just thinking about it.

In my case the answers might be a bit weird since I don't dress 24/7 but I do lead a femme lifestyle pretty much all the time. I'm a homemaker, with all that entails, shopping, cooking, social planning, laundry, etc., etc., etc. I'm also a volunteer with a congregation's ladies auxilliary (although I dress in "high androgeny" then).

I almost always carry a purse of some sort, even when wearing a drab suit, I have long hair and professionally done acrylic nails, get my eyebrows waxed and shaped every month and a pedicure with brightly colored polish every two months.

I do my morning run/walk en femme for an hour pretty much every morning, belong to a women-only exercise center that I go to three times a week, have a beauty parlor appointment once a month en femme, and am as likely to run my daily errands en femme as I am to run them en drab.

There are places where I am only known as a woman, there are people who only know me as a woman, just as there are places where I am only known as a man, and there are people who only know me as a man.

I am more frequently "Ma'm"ed than "Sir"ed and as likely to hang out and have lunch with my girlfriends as I am to hang out with "the guys."

My spouse and I frequently shop and attend events as two women.

In short, I am almost full-time femme, but only dressed part-time.

So, can you help me do the math?

lessee carry the 4 add 6 then divide by 10, sine cosine, drop the last digit, wait!. erase erase erase. now if the moon is in the seventh house and theres a bad moon rising. Ouch this makes my head hurt

Yeah, been thinking about that. It's getting worse! I started working at home 6 months ago and since I am always home now I started dressing more and more until it became a daily and then a 24/7 thing! I have to go out for groceries and to the office now and then in drab mode but my lifestyle has really changed! I don't know if it's right or wrong for me but it seems to be comfortable, something I have gravitated to. Still not sure here---

that is a tough question I would say 24 hrs a week that is not nearly enough would like to spend more.

Ouch. At my current rate, I'm looking at about 50-60 hours in a year, gotta work on that :doh:

Marla, I wish I could be cding that much, but unfortunately with my 2 daughters being home all the time (23 & 18) there's no way I could spend as much time as that dressed!! Of course, if you count time in my panties (underneath my drab) then I'm well over 1 month!

If you take into account wearing panties all day and nightwear at night it works out at 24/7 x 365 (or all year). If you are looking at En Femme it works out at 3hrs x twice weekly x 50 and divided by 24. It works out at 44 days or 7 weeks 3 days.

Sure 'bout that? Six hours a week at 50 weeks divided into days comes out to .....lessee...carry the 3, square root of 17, and enter the quotient (constant), and figure in pi.....comes out to about 12 and a half days, or approximately 17 days not sleeping. Or something like that. :doh:

Oh....but you figure in the panty quotient, and it obviously comes out to much more! :battingeyelashes:

The scary part is when I figure out dollars spent per year and divide it by hours dressed.

Wow, too much math for me, but I'll give it a try...

1 week a year of 24/7......I love vacation time!...actually I need to count 9 days for this (both weekends).

2 days a week: Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar. = 40 days

1 day a week: Sep, Oct, Apr. = 12 days

2 days a month: May, Jun, Jul, Aug. = 8 days

Lets see.....that adds up to 69 days.

Hmmmmmmmm, 69........:D

I spend a total of about 21 days a year dressed. However, if you include the time I spend thinking and talking about crossdressing and then throw in the time spent calculating how much time I spend crossdressing, then that would be incalculable.

Veronica Lacey

About 14 days 24/7 all tallied. This year there will be an extra 5 days added when my wife goes away (dressed all hours including nighties and robes except work...will be wearing heels that entire weekend) Pity it's the hottest time of year but I'll take it, you bet :)

07-10-2009, 01:21 AM
On average, I get 3.5 days a month, every month plus 5-7 days of 24/7 when I take a vacation. That comes to 47-49 days per year. I would like to double that in the next 365 days.

Pauline Lauren
07-10-2009, 01:48 AM
Hmmm well if you include just panties, I guess it is almost 24/7 for me now LOL Lately I rarely even drag out the boxers for work. But realistically for something more than just those, probably about 9-12 hours per day. Wow that means almost 4-6 months out of the year I am in a femme top and panties. Gee, I hadn't really thought about it that way before. Good question to ask!

When I used to keep time on my dressing it was about 20 days a year and I used 51.5 back then. Last year I had 47 outings so I dressed for about 10 days. This year I have had 40 outings so far, this means I have too much time on my hand this year over last year or I just need to dress more this year!

It is fun to figure out how many days you spend as a woman each year 10 - 20 days I think is about average for us part time girls. I do miss the days where I had a 48 hour dress day.

90% of 24/7 I spend enfemme. The other 10% is devoted to being the man for my wife. She is satisfied with the 10% as I am also.

I not too sure about the maths, cause I suck at maths lol, but I spend about 5 hours every day (sometimes more) dressing and have done for the last few months, so I imagine that'd probably work out to quite a lot?

07-11-2009, 07:52 AM
That's 76.04 days Anne... Not bad.

I only dress when I travel so it's 3-4 day per month... 24 hours a day though. I LOVE waking up in the morning in my jammies and having coffee. Best part of the day for me.

07-11-2009, 09:19 AM
For me. I estimated it to a total of 120 hours a year (5 days in total).
40 weeks approx. 2 hours and in 10 occasions 4 hours makes 120 hours a year

Well, let's see; I sleep as a female almost every day. Add to that days off from work that I stay home, then perhaps about 50% of my existence so far since my divorce dressed as a girl, and feeling much the same.

I used to keep a record - how sad am I ? ! - but I think I can maybe put that down to my technical background - anyway here it is in hours per year:

2004 = 202 hours
2005 = 214 hours
2006 = 172 hours
2007 = 310 hours
2008 = 620 hours

You can see I really took off in 2008 !
Now I've gone full time there's no need to bother to count anymore

Considering I sleep in a nightie and am usually in a skirt until I go to work, I probably spend about six months a year dressed up.

As you can see it isn't enough.....

Depends if wearing a bra or and heels counts as dressed up.. to me wearing a bra counts sort of and wearing heels counts sort of.. if that counts then I have dressed just about every day this year.. and last year.. and the year before that..

However much time it is its not enough. Sigh!

Samantha Girl
07-12-2009, 01:15 AM
You're making me do math now? Samantha no like math! :Angry3:

Kinda hard to calculate because my rate of dressing up and or playing around with my hair has gone up dramatically in the last 2 1/2 years. :battingeyelashes: I've definitely dressed up more already this year than I did all of last year, and I dressed up a lot last year! :o

Ok, lets say I dress up for about 2 days at 7 hours each per week (Friday&Saturday nights) However I take EVERY opportune moment presented to me to dress up, holiday, house to myself, girl's away, etc. So I guess add another 2 days at 7 hours each for each month

14 x 52 = 728 hours * 728/24 = 30.3 days + 14 x 12 = 168 hours 168/24 - 7 days

= 37.3 days as Samantha Girl

I agree, not enough! :( It would be great to be able to dress up for like a whole day! OMG! I'll be able to do that in like 3 weeks! :battingeyelashes:

Please don't make me do anymore math, pleease, it hurts me :p

I take 2 months vacation a year during which time I am fully Femme 24/7.

Add to that the time i get in the winter i estimate that I am fully femme over 3 months a year.

That is all about to change very soon and for the better.

I am moving 24 July, at which time when i get to my new City, Denise will be going full time, which i have been looking forward to for a long time

Marla,

You started me thinking and I ended up doing my usual thing of carrying it farther than I probably should have.

Okay, the math worked out to about 3 weeks or just over 500 hours for the last year. But then I started thinking about how much I've spent for those hours en femme. Since I buy most of my things at thrift stores the only big hit was the time at Diva Las Vegas (and well worth every dime). Not bad in the final count as it works out to just a few bucks per hour, much less than many other "hobbies". Still it would be good to improve the cost/benefit here by dressing a lot more and spending just a little less.

I am always in panties except when I shower which is about once a month.
I wear a nightie once in a while.
I go out dressed once or twice a month.
I am dressed all day a couple days a year.

So the closest I can answer your question is: sometimes.

Tasha McIntyre

I reckon about 4 hours a week - about 9 days a year.
Not nearly enough, but life restrictions......you know!

I don't need to do any math. I am dressed almost all the time and am close to 24/7. I would say that I am dressed about 95% of the time. This is very evident to me when I wash clothes and notice that almost everything that goes into the washing machine is female clothing. I am single and live alone and am also retired so I am able to live this way. I feel so very fortunate.

I dress enfemme all the time when I am not working. Last November I dressed enfemme 23 days straight. I spend most sundays enfemme after church, and I usually spend 3 weeks out of the year dressed enfemme for a week straight. so I would say about 5 months of the year dressed, working on going close to full time.

Last year I attended DLV, SCC, and some weekends away from home and I was able to spend almost 30 days enfemme 24/7. WOW that is more than I thought - Thanks for asking. Having been a CD for 40 years, bras, panties, and nighties have always been fun but 24/7 with the nails, shopping, dining, and fitting-in overall is where the fun is.

My circumstances don't allow me to fully dress anymore, but I partially dress at least a few hours most days. This usually involves stockings, heels, panties, slip, skirt and blouse. I would like to be able to fully dress regularly, but it's just not possible. That's okay though, because I've learned to appreciate what I can do.
