View Full Version : Most "absurd" question you've been asked while dressed.

I will be able to spend several days dressed in August while my wife is away on a trip. I was thinking about it this morning and what I might plan for an outing. I have been thinking about driving to Austin, (about 3hrs away) and going to 'Bout Time and maybe trying to see if there were any other girls who would like to meet up.
Anyway, as I was considering my options I remembered the first time I went to 'Bout Time, several years ago. This was only my first or second time to be out in public and around a lot of people. My nervousness must have been apparent because as I sat at the bar and sipped a drink the bartender turned to me and asked me "What I want to know is "do you shave your chest?"
I remember being shocked at his question and thinking he had a lot of nerve asking me something like that!
I took no offence to his question and thought of it as good-natured fun and a conversation starter, altough at the same time I am thinking "you shouldn't be asking a girl that kind of question."

So I was just wondering what kind of "absurd" questions or comments you might have gotten.

Molly,

I'm in a gay bar wearing a dress, heels, makeup and wig and a man asks me if I want to be a girl.

Thought that was pretty obvious.

"Who do you think you're fooling?" asked by a complete stranger, an old guy, well...as old as me anyway, in a grocery store, just out of the blue. In the frozen food aisle, maybe my turkey timers had popped out. I just gave him my patented "Eff off, buster." look (for a mild version, please see my pix) and kept on walking. Honestly, if I were trying to fool someone, it wouldn't have been him. He didn't look like he'd had a nodding acquaintance with a bar of soap in weeks.

Well, mine have usually been people acting shocked or something.
Here I can be, dressed head to toe en femme, and someone who is fascinated would be like "YOu, you mean you even paint your toenails?!?!?"

When the bartender asked me if I shaved my chest I remember thinking that was a rather personal question. I guess that is why I was somewhat shocked that he would ask that.
Does my shock come from a feminine mindset that says you don't ask girls those kind of personal questions?

I was taking a break from a lot of walking, kind of leaning on a large planter, and a guy selling books from his bike/cart sets up shop right next to me. After a minute or so, he asks--"you a woman"? "Today I am", I reply. He just nods, and says "OK". Sat there for about 10 more minutes, and he never said another word to me, before I continued on.

More a statement than a question, but at the shops a couple of weeks ago a complete man stranger walked up to me, looked me full on and said, "wow I wish I had your courage". He kinda grimace / smiled and walked away without another word.

I was at a straight bar, and a guy sets his drink next to mine and asks if I can watch it while he gets a smoke outside. I said "Sure."

He comes back and looks me in the eye and says "I'm Guido, what's your name?".

"Diane"

"What's your real name?"

"Diane!"

Later he comes over, chats me up, flirts, and buys me a drink.
He asks me out, and I tell him I'm TS, and he acted totally shocked!

I had dressed for halloween last year and went to work. One of the girls in our Admissions Department (University) asked in front of all the staff, what are you wearing under your dress. I took a second and said the same thing you are wearing. To that she asked if she could touch my breasts and now she has crossed the line to far so I said right after I touch yours. lol on the floor with a dozen others. She backed off but we still spar from time to time and we are good friends. It take a smart a## to know one. lol

I was in a gay /lesbian bar last November dressed completely as a woman with another cd friend enjoying a couple of drinks. This guy comes up to me and asks "are you Sarah Palin or just a look alike'. I laughed so much that I almost fell off my chair. I don't know if he was serious or just using that as a line to hit on me as he was obviously very drunk.

The breasts is odd for sure. Had it happen at a party, a woman says, are you a guy? I said, um, yes. She they gives them a squeeze with both hands. It totally shocked me...didn't expect it at all.

The only others...when you tell someone you dressed up and they say, did you shave your legs and arms?...I say no and they answer, good. Like, they have this line you should not cross....

This is an open question to anyone who feels like answering:

So then, if the right person asked, would you let them touch your boobs? And would it do anything for you, or would you just say okay to humor me, um, I mean them?

I've also had "Can I touch your boobs?" ... and usually from women. My stock answer is "Can I touch yours?" Sometimes I get lucky. If they say no, I follow with "Why not? Tit for tat, after all!"

Sometimes I get asked "Are those real?" to which I say "No, you're imagining them."

"Can I touch your boobs?" That reminds me of the last time I went to 'Bout Time, (and I really don't get out very often), I was sitting at the bar and two other Tgirls were there as well. The other two were regulars and were having an ongoing dialogue with the bartender. He came out from behind the bar and was standing between them and "flirting," he asked them if he could touch their boobs and they let him, all laughing, then he turned around to me just reached over and squeezed mine and said "nice" then he kissed me on the cheek! This all happened so fast I was again in shock that a guy would do such a thing.

On the boobs thing, I have someone ask if they can touch my boobs just about every time I go out. I have people regularly ask if they are real. I usually say, "real silicone". :)

Probably the strangest thing I've had someone ask was whether or not I have a penis. I usually smile and ask, "do you?" Depending on the sex of the person, the question gets a different response. If it is a girl they usually laugh and say no. If it is a guy they look at me like I'm from Mars. :)

I don't mind questions, even absurd ones. It just means that people are interested or curious. Your reponse to the question is very important. If you are a smart ass about it then people start thinking that all TGs are smart asses. If you have fun with it and are nice then people think we are all nice.

Just don't take anything personal.

Kisses,

Allie

P.S. If you make it to Bout Time look for a tall blonde that sits at the end of the bar named Teree and tell her Allie said to say, "Hi". She is one of my best friends in the world and one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She is coming up to Dallas to go out on the town with me and my wife on the 25th.

I think it's a little of the two. Your fem side was shocked and it was personnel.

The male side thought your trying so hard to blend in and pass that you wonder how he knew.

The strangest thing I got was an old guy who walked over, rubbing the whiskers on his cheek, and said, "You missed a spot." I laughed and said, "It happens!" He walked away grinning, but the GG's I was talking to got a bit upset. I just told them it was cool; I'm the goofy one after all.

I get the boob thing all the time, but the girls that are bold enough don't usually ask... they just grab. I grab theirs right back. Haven't been slapped yet... that would be rather hypocritical, wouldn't it? My male friends, I think, are a bit jealous of how many breasts I get to feel up. :D And some of my guy friends once tried to take cell phone pics up my skirt... all in good fun. I don't think I could handle this if I was so sensitive as to let things like that bother me.

"Would you like another pint?"

"Wow, how do you do that (cleavage)?!?!?! ( I respond: A little water, a little sunshine.. and whole lotta luvin'!!!)

Let's see...I've gotten the "can I touch your boobs"... I've had this convo with a gg friend before:

her: are you wearing women's underwear too?
me: yep
her: can I see?

at a halloween party a group of women were all into me and expressed how they were "curious" but afraid to try another woman...but they wanted to feel the taste of lipstick from someone else. 4 times, (3 guys/1 girl) Are those real? twice I answered with NO and twice I answered with "what do you think". (I think I'll use "yep, real breast forms" from no on)
2 times, (both GG's), Can I touch them? (I'll have to remember "if I can tough yours") instead, I said sure if you really want to. and,
1 time (my GG cousin), Do you shave your legs? my answer was yep, is it that obvious? You wouldn't know it, but the males, from both sides of my family have pretty hairy legs, and bodys, so YES it is OBVIOUS as hell to someone who would know it. The question (coming from her) was no big surprise to me, what was a surprise, was the location when she asked.
IN A WAITING LINE IN, AN ALREADY AT FULL ACPACITY FAMILY RESTAURANT IN ROCK ISLAND OR MOLINE, ILLINOIS with at least 25 people in line, some in front and some behind us, along with the 12-15 family members, all in hearing range. thats ok tho, I'm a crossdresser, I shave face, my legs, my armpits and a couple other things....WHO CARES?

LMFAO

Was once asked "are you wearing ladies tights?". I replied "nope, they're my mine".

Also...

Was in a private members club one evening, chatting to a couple who were intrigued about me being all dressed up, the man asked "so are you gay then?". "No" I replied, "straight as a rule, that's my wife standing behind you". I asked him a few questions and it turned out that he had indeed 'given' and 'received' in a man-on-man encounter. I said "ewww, yuk.....and you think I'm strange for wearing a dress", then there was a pause....then a smile...."only kidding mate, I couldn't care less what you do, live and let live I say". We chuckled about it.

"You a girl or a guy?"
"You're a guy, aren't you?"
"Can you kiss my friend? He's never been kissed by a guy before."

There's more, but you get the drift. And every time, I smile and try not to rip someone's heart out of their chest and feel one more paper cut on my soul.

I was out last summer with a GG friend and a girl she was dating, we were walking through the "Short North" here in columbus and a car load of rude boys was driving by and must have read me because they started yelling out the window "Sir? Sir?" like they wanted to ask me a question. Seeing as they were yelling it from a moving car, I didn't think their question was likely anything I wanted to answer so I just kept walking, and they circled the block a few times and tried to get my attention. Since this was last summer and gas prices were hitting the $4 mark here, I was fine letting them waste their fuel.

I was in a bar in Atlantic City with 2 GG freinds. This guy was hitting on me for ever, I finally told him I was a Guy, he looked very surprised. I was wearing tight Jeans and being tucked had a nice smooth front. Well he could not understand where it was down below. He asked me if he could touch my crotch. Of course I told hime no. I also had a low cut blouse on and showing some cleavage so he ask's if could touch my breasts. He eventually got thrown out for annoying some other girls

"Can I touch your boobs"At least they ask you. I can't count the number of times I've been in a club or bar and had some asshole just grab them. Then they get all surprised and indignant when I slap them. They wouldn't go up to a gg and grab their breasts, why do they think it's okay now?

I've never been asked any dumb questions though. At least nothing dumber than the occasional "are you a guy or a girl?" I've always wondered why people think it's okay to ask that. If I was a gg and got asked that I'd be deeply insulted.

ive had guys ask "can i touch your boobs or your crocth and i say "wtf are you a perv?" and most of the time they would walk away or keep persistant and sometimes i have to run to get away from them. other times i have had people to ask "are you a man? or are you even a woman? all i have to say is "well what are you?" man i tell you people are stupid.

Most "absurd" question you've been asked while dressed.

Here’s just a smattering:

“Who do you think you are, Anne of Green Gables?”
“Excuse me, miss? Can you please tell me how to get out of Kansas?”
“Are you wearing breastforms, or are you just happy to see me?”
“Don’t you think you should get out of sight before the Republicans see you?”
“What time does the balloon go up?”
”Are you selling something? How much?”

I have never had anyone ask if they could touch my boobs.(other than a g/f or two who were curious or contemplating getting a set of implants also) I have had the "are they real" question. Nobody has ever just reached out and grabbed them... and lived to tell about it. :heehee: That would be ,IMHO very disrespectful, I don't put up with being disrespected.
Would I let the "right" person touch them? Anyone who asks a question like that upon just meeting someone is NOT the right person, so no I wouldn't let a stranger grope me.
