Tips?

I have tried quite unsuccessfully to get a therapist or psychologist that knows about and really understands GID. I had some pleasant conversations with one therapist who was out of her (great) depth, and today I talked to a psychologist who assured me that in our town no one deals with this issue. (I believe she was quite taken aback by the topic..., even if she sounded like a nice person.) Can anyone recommend a person to talk to in Richmond, D.C. or in the region? I am considering hormones to tip me even more into the feminine, which makes me feel at home..
