I don't know if this has been asked before, but to all girls who wear breast forms, like me, what is the best adhesive, I've only used double sided tape and have found it very good, but is spray on glue any better and can you go braless with it and how easy is it to wash off, thanks.

Here's a link to another much older thread that might help you chosing. However it doesn't widely cover adhesives. Do a google search under breastform adhesives and look for Holister (try this: http://teddygirl.com/holmedad.html )

Today is my birthday!
And guess what?
I got what I wanted!
I wanted some breasts of my own, and I got them!
(I had to buy them for myself, but hey, I'm entitled)

If I'm lucky I'll get to try them on today and celebrate!
They're really lovely, water and bath oil filled with a tricot lining.
And a lot of girls have asked me what kind of breast forms I use,
but until now, just some pads.

You can see these online at http://www.fields.com/gifts/OnlineShopping/FL?DSP=4&PCR=7:101086:101307:101308:101318&IID=1003522&c=1

At only $13US, it seemed like a bargain to me!
Now I just have to figure out how to use them. Did someone say duct tape?

Thank you, Tristen!
I'll be sure to put up a picture once I get it right.

I can't afford the real breast forms. Found a site that tells you how to make ones. Right now I make mine with a very soft fiber fill and knee high hose. I put on a bra and fill the hose with the fiber fill until it fills the cup. The soft fiber fill feels like the real thing and I don't have to worry about them breaking when I sleep in my bra. Also if you tie the knot just right and place it in the bra cup it looks like you have real nipples. This is a great turn on for me.

I promised a picture, here it is.
Anyone who says they can't afford them is just plain silly!
I didn't get really big ones, because they wouldn't seem, um, natural,
but these are so nice and real feeling, I can't put them away!

hi gemma,

i have tried the hollister's stuff before and I personally have found that I have great difficulty afterwards in removing all the leftover residue. in some cases i have been left with a sticky / gooey chest for days after .

however , after asking around a bit here , i have a feeling i may have been using too much of the stuff as other ladies don't seem to get the same problem. so my advice is to use it as per the instructions and to use it VERY sparingly.

Hey Julia is that a new avatar? You look very nice in it.
Hollister also makes some presoaked cleaning pads and sells them in a box of 50. I've ordered some just to see if they are more convenient. There is still only the spray bottle for applying the adhesive.
For anyone looking for the adhesive, you might find it cheaper on any site that sells ostomy supplies as opposed to the usual CD suppliers. I know in my neck of the woods, Canada, the adhesive was $50 at Wildside, but, only $36 at the medical supply shop, www.ostomyweb.com.
Gemma, enjoy the forms...the braless feeling with the close fit I got with the Hollister was special. :D
