Finally starting to find clothes that fit and collect a wardrobe. I love these sandals and this skirt set from J C Penny! Think I should lose the tatoo w/some makeup?

Love the dress  There is a tattoo cover made if you want to cover up from time to time. It's in my links all by itself.

For your first attempts you're doing great. Better than I did I'm sure. I think the tattoo is o.k. if it doesn't say "Death or Glory".

You look terrific, Carson. You have a very feminine pose in each photo and that "sells" as much as anything else. Well done! :)

Wow, you look so relaxed and comfortable. I like the pickie of you sitting the best.

Do you mind if i ask what size you are? I have a little trouble finding nice clothes like yours in my rather large upper body size.

Hi Christine,

Thanks for your very kind feedback on my pics, I like the sitting pose best too! :flirt:

Since you asked, I'll give you the "gory details" if it will help you find clothes that fit.

First off, I'm 6'3", weigh 195lbs. and my measurements are: 43-36-39. I've been doing a lot of ordering and sending back b/c I have found that the women's size charts in catalogs bear little resemblance sometimes to reality. Ex. According to GAP's size chart, a 37 1/2 waist would be a sz.20 and a 35 1/2 waist would be a sz. 18. Guess what? I fit a sz. 10 skirt at the GAP. Go figure! (I even have one that's an 8, a little snug, but not bad.) :D

The outfit you see me wearing in the pics is actually a skirt and top set (pretty cool, huh?) from JC Penny (www.jcpenny.com) in a size 16tall and was $89.99. (Yeh, if your bigger than the avg. woman, it's gonna cost you!) But it fits like a dream, I love it and is worth every penny. I also recently bought a really nice black calf length linen dress with a darted, sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves from Eddie Bauer. (www.eddiebauer.com) Also in a 16tall. ($39.99) It is very comfortable too but doesn't have as much room in the bust as the skirt set outfit. But I consider both outfits winners. In fact, I got some good sizing help from one of our members who used to work in women's clothes for Eddie Bauer. She eyeballed me from some earlier photos and said I looked like a 14 or 16tall. The 16tall seems to work. I have just four blouses so far. They're all either XL or 1X.

In case you're wondering about shoes, I wear a men's 12. I have women's shoes in women's 12, 13 and 14. They all fit. Just depends on the cut. Usually you can figure on ordering a women's shoe in a size that's 1 1/2 to 2 sizes bigger than your men's street shoe. Some good shoe web sites are: www.zappos.com and www.marylandsquare.com. If you like the shoes I'm wearing in my avatar (I do b/c they're basic, versatile and comfortable) believe it or not they're dance shoes. Capezio Student Footlight Character shoes I got from New York Dancewear (www.nydancewear.com) in size 12.

How about "unmentionables" as my mother would have said? Try www.barenecessities.com. Great selection of bras, panties, hoisery and lingerie. No, I won't tell you what sizes I wear. A lady doesn't speak of such things. :p

Good luck with the shopping and I'll look forward to seeing some photos of you in some fabulous new outfits sometime soon!
