Small steps Katie, small steps. :)

I have not been out but don`t do it on your own!
Welcome, this is the best place to start. Make friends, you have already :)
and slowly I`m sure you will get there, with excitement, not terror.

Love,
Alison. :D

i wear suntan pantyhose over shaved legs with painted toenails out in public and no one notices,,,,
i have yet to be out in public in the daytime dressed but i have gone to the gay bar at night dressed and i had no problems...
if u look nice and dont dress to draw attention to urself i.e. mini skirts or stelleto heels,, u should be ok,,, :D

I don't understand the last part of your post katie. Who's different? Where do homosexuals come into it ?

Katie,

Do you live in an area where there's a gay community? Chicago has one and it's safe for TGs to be out on the street.

But if you plan to go out I'd warn against doing it alone. The only times I have had problems was when I was alone. It seems the idiots are braver when they only have to confront one person. Although the last person who made a comment to me ended up regretting it. :Punch:

If you want to go out and socialise then I suppose it is a different approach to venturing out dressed up and wanting to just go out shopping or something. I would think your best bet is to see if there is a CD group in your area. If you make a friend or two then maybe you could meet up or go clubbing in drab at first.

Being gay and going out dressed up, with your wife, is an interesting angle. I'd love to know how that works.

Julie, I have to say that I am with you on this one. A married gay waitress who owns no male clothes going out with the wife. It's like a Mobius strip!

I know but it was fun reeling it in.

Maybe her wife is a man. Or maybe she is one of these male lesbians that I hear of.

It's all possible. I'm fascinated. I'd like to know more.

When you go out, does your 'wife' go out dressed?

I assume you normally dress in drab, and by 'going out' you mean in the evening, etc.

Until now when you have 'gone out' with your man-wife you have been in drab? And him the same? And now you want to make the big step for both of you to go out en femme?

good luck, but stay together and give each other that mutual support.

You're worried Katie? Me too!

You work as a 'waitress' and you don't own 'men's cloths'? Mmmmm? So you don't go out then? - Or are you a nudist?

Curiouser and curiouser..............ooops! can't stop....I'm late - I'm late....for a very important date.

All we ask for is for there to be some semblance to honesty in the forum -- that's not to much to expect, is it? Either that, or you need to improve upon your storytelling.
This is why I charge so much as an editor. :D

And you are needing advice how to go out dressed as a woman?

You're really crap at this aren't you? At least put a bit of effort into it. Come on now, do a bit of homework first then come back and try to be consistent. It's a lot more fun for us when there is at least a challenge.

So do you regard yourself as a transexual?
