George had been living on his own for just over 6 months, he had stopped dressing and felt very down, he missed his children terribly, only seeing them when he could, the casual work he got from the dockyard was slack and finacially he was struggling with bills and the rent, most of his earnings were feeding the landlords and their families of the local publican houses.
George was offered to house share with a friend and work colleague, the rent was cheaper and work was slowly picking up, after a month living in his new abode, one sunny afternoon with a few drinks down him, George went shopping, he brought himself a skirt, top, underwear and shoes, he told all the assistants in the various shops they were for his wife, he did recieve some strange looks and questions, he did'nt care for their opinions anyway, the alcohol making him feel braver than he really was.
George rushed home with his newly acquired outfit, he ran a bath and shaved, he was getting ready when he heard his friend come in, George undressed and went downstars. George dressed when he could, but was finding it quite difficult, never knowing when his friend would be coming home.
George started to spend time down the pubs more often, he met a new girl in the early weeks of 1998, she had a five month old daughter and in December of the same year, George's third daughter was born, he was now the father to four girls.
George told his partner about his dressing early in their relationship, she told him she did'nt have a problem with it, she just did'nt want to see him dressed, George moved away from his hometown and got married when his youngest was two, the marriage lasted for 14 months and George found himself back in his place of birth.
He stayed with his brother Trevor's eldest, Emma, she was 20 and she had a little girl of her own, Emma knew of his dressing and was fine about it, just over a week of staying at his neice's whilst watching television, Emma asked "Can I borrow your car, please George, I need something from town", "Sorry Emma, I can't, you don't have a license" George replied, "Please, Uncle George, you are my favourite Uncle" Emma said, with sugary speech "You can wear my clothes tonight, if you do" George was being blackmailed and gave Emma a wry smile "You sly little minx" George told Emma, he thought about this I hav'nt dressed in a long time and I don't have any clothes of my own, he threw them out, when he had moved away "OK, but be careful and don't tell your Dad","Thanks Uncle, I be about an hour" Emma took George's keys and was gone, her daughter was sleepng at her nan's for the night.
George rushed to his neice's bedroom and instantly started to rifle through her belongings, he chose a white lacy bra and matching thong, this was George's first time wearing a thong, "These really are comfortable", George said to himself, he pulled on a pair of tights, filled the bra out with other hosiery and chose a knee length black dress with pink roses, it was very light and frilled at the hem, Emma's got some very pretty and quite sexy clothes, George thought, he put on a pair of open toed black platforms, the only shoes that fitted him and the only ones he really liked, he was admiring himself in the mirror when he heard the front door being opened, "I'm Back" Emma called up to George, "Will be down soon" George replied, "Take your time, I'll make us a cuppa", Emma said, George looked at himself one more time, took a deep breath and said to his reflection, "Well she said she was ok about it, so let's go"
He soon found himself standing at the living room door, "Here I am, you ready for this" George said to the painted woodwork in front of him, "Yes, come on, let's have a look, I'm sure you look fine", was the reply from the other side of the door, George reached for the handle, turned and pushed and stepped over the threshold seperating the two rooms, George stood there stunned, in the room was Emma's younger sister, George's 18 year old niece and a friend of theirs, whom he had met before, he did'nt know what to do, he was ok with Emma seeing him and started to think he had been set up as a joke, when Emma said, "Its ok I told them you would be dressed like this, they are ok with it and you do look very nice", Emma's sister and their friend both agreed and made room for him on the sofa, the evening went well, the girls made George feel ever so comfortable and he had never felt so relaxed, it was the first time somebody had seen him dressed since Alan and his girlfriend and wished the evening could've have lasted for ever.
His neice's and friend never saw George dressed again, he was busy with work, George had started working back at the plant he worked at when he was seventeen, he was doing a 3 shift system, 7 days on 2 off, with an added bouns of 10 days off at the end of a rota.
George was on a 2-10 shift, he was talking to Emma and asked if she knew of anywhere he could find more about him and others like him, "Why don't you try the adult shop" Emma had said, "Yeah, I forgot about that place", George replied, the adult shop was couple miles away, so George hopped in his car and drove to the shop in question. He was nervous and shaking inside as he entered the shop, a man of his age sat behind the counter, he looked up at George, smiled and nodded, George returned the compliment, the shop was quite large and very clean, not what George expected, though he was'nt sure what to expect, he had never been in an such an establishment, he put his hands in the back of his jeans and browsed the various objects and contraptions on offer. George was surveying the odd implements, when the guy behind the counter said "Can I help you sir", George was startled and replied "No, I'm fine, just looking","Well just ask if you need any help" the assistant had said, "Well, yes, actually you can" George said with a lump in his throat, "Erm, well I'm...I'm...George","Phil" the assistant said and offered George his hand, George wiped his sweaty hand on the seat of his jeans, took the offered hand and shook it, feeling a little relaxed, "So, what can I do for you George" Phil asked, "Erm, well, I suppose you cater for allsorts and don't mind who comes in here" George said to Phil, his hands had started to shake, "We try" Phil said with a smile, "Well I'm...I'm...a..a..transvestite" George told Phil, not believing he had just told a complete stranger, he never really cared for the word transvestite, but that is what I am, he often told himself, "Thats fine" said Phil, "What are you after", George instantly felt relaxed, after all, I suppose he's only doing his job, he thought, "I'm after some reading material on transvestism" George said, the words just rolled of his tongue, "Over there in the corner, we have some magazines on the subject","Thankyou" George said and looked at the various magazines on offer, all with pictures of men dressed as women on the cover, he counld'nt flick through the magazine's though, they had clear plastic coverings on them, "Have you heard of The Tranny Guide" Phil asked of him, "No" George relpied, "We hav'nt a copy here, but wait a sec", Phil picked up the phone and dialed a number, after a couple of mintues he said, "Your in luck, our other shop has a copy, would you like it","Yes please" said a delighted George, "Be here next week" Phil told George, "OK see you on Friday", George said, thanked Phil and shook his hand again, this time they were a lot less sweaty.
Friday came and George picked up his copy of the Tranny Guide, took it home, made a cup of tea and started to read his new found book, George found it very imformative and intresting, he learnt tips on make-up, tucking, shaving, wig care, how to get the right bust size, the list was endless, This must be the crossdressers bible, he thought and continued to scour the pages, near the back of the book were web addresses for various crossdressing related sites, "Must get myself a computer" George told himself and checked the papers for the prices of pc's.
George's marriage was over and he was'nt going back, he could'nt stay at Emma's for ever and moved in with his eldest brother Thomas, who's own marriage was over year's ago, it was a two bedroom house and George often had his children stay, he had been living there for two months when George brought a brand new computer on finance, he set it up and registered to an internet company, after familiarizing himself with the controls of the pc and getting a grip with the internet, his first time ever, he entered addresses from the Tranny Guide, shopping sites, places to go, personal sites, a whole new world had had opened up for George, he was feeling very excited, on one of the personal sites George was veiwing, he clicked on a link for a site called TgChat, it opened up to site where I can chat to other tv's like me George said to himself, his brother was out at work and only his neice knew how far he had gone with his dressing, he was able to see a list of who was on-line and noticed most names had a place of origin after them, most were girls name, but he did notice boys names as well, he also noticed a few were from the UK, there was seventeen people chatting, he stared at the box which said enter name, he thought long and hard, he started to shake a little, "Do I use my real name or what about a girl's name, I've never really thought about a girl's name, but as I dress in girl's clothes, why not" George clicked the box for enter name, poised his shaking finger's over the keyboard and typed..............

George is running late for work, he quickly changes into his work clothes and rushes to his forklift, his workmate is coming down a blind alley, George looks left and right, steps out from behind the stairs and walks straight into the 4 ton truck heading his way
