For those that are interested the BBC are doing a series on the differences between Male & Female Brains on Sunday at 9.00pm. The first of the series went out tonight and others will follow over the next few weeks.

For those that can't get this programme there is a test you can carry out that is interesting

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/sexsecrets/

My test indicated that I had more female to male traits.

Well, I took the test and fell on a big zero. Neither male nor female brain I guess. I always knew I was the kid of aliens!

Seriously though, I took that as a compliment meaning I have a fifty fifty split right down the middle of both genders in the way I think. Interesting....

As in other tests like this I take I fall right in the middle of the male range----I recon the test is accurate as I have taken several different ones with the SAME results---go figure

Indeed this also verifys that what makes ME crossdress has NOTHING to do with my sexuality--I always supposed it was an ocasional "identity escape" thing with me. I seem to have the OPPOSITE "condition" than many CDs who claim their fem self is their "real" self----In MY case my fem self is NOT my real self--but a vehicle to emporarily ESCAPE my real self for a few hours and "de-stress"--Im sure others are this way too.---The "thrill" of the risk , and the "quasi -eroti rush--are just little extra "bonuses"

I was 25 points towards the male side on the overall score.

Angles - 15 - suggests male and female traits

Spot the difference - 14% - (pretty pathetic) low even for a man

Hands - Left thumb

Emotions and Systems - empathy - 8 - male - systemizing - 8 - female

Eyes - 6 - balanced female-male brain

Fingers - right 1 - left .98 - but I couldn't find a good ruler so I'm not sure this was very accurate. Seems I have one male hand and one female hand. That's kind of hard to believe LOL.

Faces - preferred more feminine faces

3D shapes - 8 - 50/50 male/female

Words - 14 - female

Ultimatum - £25 - female - and I thought when it came to money I'd be very masculine.

I don't know what it means but it's fun.

25% male.

I scored 15 on angles, in the middle of male and female;
36% on spot the difference, the low end of a balanced male female brain;
right thumb on top, left brain dominant;
16 on empathising, 5.4 higher than the normal female averages;
9 on systemising, 1 higher than women and 3.5 lower than men averages;
7 on eyes, .4 higher than men and women averages;
.97 on fingers, lower than both men and women; faces, I prefer feminine faces;
3D shapes, 8 out of 12, .2 lower than men and .9 higher than women;
words, 4, really low (maybe because I'm nursing a hangover!);
ultimatum, I asked for half, not much difference between men and women there unless you asked for under 60% (typically women) or over 65% (typically men).

Arrrgh! I didn't want to know that Tamara!

I worked with a realist who was so bogged down in the details, he took forever to do anything simple! Mind you, i'm a futurist - always planning for what's coming before anyone realises its even been invented yet! He thought i was always off in lala land.

As for the brain sex test, i was a perfect '0'.

In many of the individual sets, i had female tendancies, but they were levelled out by the logical thinker in me (a male trait i guess).

In all the tests i've ever done like this, i usually find that the result varies from androdgenous (sp?) to slight transgenderism, so i'm starting to get a pretty good idea of my 'preference' of how i want to live and be perceived as a person in society.
