I was inventorying while packing for SCC, and I noticed that I own about twice as many femme pair of shoes as I do male!! As far as clothes shopping, I spend about twice as much time checking out skirts, heels, and dresses as I do male attire!! Whaddo you girls think?:daydreaming:

I'm only going to be at SCC for Saturday's events and then leaving Sunday en femme and I'm taking 5 pairs of shoes. I don't think that I even own that many guy shoes!

Well, how meany shoes does a man need anyway?
1 pair dres shoes, 1 pair sneekers, 1 pair work and/or bad weather boots maybe a pair of sandles or some high casual shoes.
Wheras a female could need a difrent pair of shoes for every outfit.

Yes! There is a lot more to choose from. Have you ever noticed the size of the mens department vs the size of the womans?

So what problem you talking about? I don't really like mens shoes that much anyway. Couple pairs of tennis/cross training(?) shoes, 1 pair of work boots and 1 pair of flip flops. I have 9 pairs of ladies shoes and have my sights on more. So there is no problem, only solution.:drink:

Lisa,

I have about six times as many ladies shoes as I do guy shoes. And as for checking out femme clothing, there are just sooooo many more choices than for guy stuff - it just takes more time (and is more fun too). No lines crossed that I see.

See you at SCC!

I can't remember what the line looks like. I have at least ten pair of womans shoes for each pair of mens. I love it.

Why worry about a line? If you can afford the things that offer you enjoyment, continue to do so.

You haven't crossed a line, you've opened a door into a world where each new item has multiple uses and options. Welcome in.

....Then the STARTING LINE it is!!:daydreaming: I'm only up to 16 pair of women's shoes, and less than 1/2 of my closet space is "girly" clothing, so I'm guessing that I'm still in the rookie stage!!:hugs::love:
OH, and NO trip to Thailand!!

The more pairs you have the more opportunity for new outfits. I only have 4 pair, I'm jealous.

Your at the starting line Dear. Before I got married I had a 3 bedroom house. And only one closet had male cloths in it. The walk-in had 40 skirts, 75 tops and 30 dresses. The other one had slacks, jeans, shorts and nightgowns. Had to give all away some the wife could have some closet space.

That must be what I tripped over. At 125 womens to 6 mens pair of shoes if that
was a line I guess I fell over it.
So Many Shoes So Little Time!!

I just realized last week... I have only bought two pieces of mens clothing on my own (without someone over my shoulder telling me I needed more clothes) and that was socks and some underwear... even worse I haven't bought a single piece of mens clothing in over a year.

I've bought ALOT of womens clothing in the last year and a half though - blushes -

I'm worse thatn that - I probably have 12 pairs of women's shoes, versus one pair of male shoes that I wear regularly. And I rarely shop in the men's section anymore, can't even remember the last time I bought an item of male clothing that wasn't out of necessity. :)

It is certainly understandable. Male attire is simply a uniform to make all males look alike. There is no style and that is why it is called DRAB. What color of black, brown, dark blue, or gray would you like?
