I found the same thing. In my adventures in crossdressing I have never, ever, found a pair of heels that feel as comfortable or more comfortable with bare feet than they do with pantyhose. Shoes that can be downright painful without pantyhose are very comfortable with pantyhose. It's almost like heels are designed with pantyhose in mind.

I see women wearing heels that are obviously too large (big gap at the back of the heel), often accompanied by a red, sore rubbing spot on the skin at the back of the foot, and think "If you just wore pantyhose, you could wear a smaller shoe and be a lot more comfortable". I remember one woman in particular wearing heels at least two sizes two big for her, wobbling down the hallway in front of me. I wanted to stop her and give her an education about shoes in general. Sigh.

I wish I had that bra today for sentimental sake. The bra was white, slightly padded and had slight lace on the cup - but not extravagant. Two hooks in the back, but not huge size. It fit perfectly on me. I have worn many a bra since then: different colors, sizes and shapes – but that was one memorable bra.

Even now, decades later, I don’t wear a bra daily or weekly, but when I do, it feels so natural. Almost as if I am naked without one. There are many things that invoke feminity in a CDer (putting on wig, heels, makeup, and lipstick) but when I take that universal feminine pose of bending my arms behind my back and clipping those two hooks of a bra strap together – that is pure feminity in my mind.

For me it is slightly more complicated to answer this because I had some real "forced femme" experiences before I decided I wanted to try on something.

When 5yo my mom was feeling playful one day and stripped me and dressed me in my older sisters (to small) party dress complete with ruffled panties, and ruffled socks under mary janes.

Ohhhh, I know what you mean! When I had my apartment, I had a 2nd floor balcony that faced a pretty secluded area of the apartment complex, so I had my privacy. I would put on a silky slip sometime after midnight and go stand out there and just let the breeze blow. :) Had a robe on to close up and cover myself with in case anyone walked by (was not brave), but usually just left it open. :) Was glad I had the robe, though, when a police officer walked by down below!
