Hi all. What a day so far. I headed out this moring just simply to buy some new sneakers. Well, it went much further than that. First I went shopping for sneakers and I ended up buying a nice new white pair of reebok princess sneakers. As soon as I put them on I knew what I had to do next. Off I went on my shopping excursion and next I bought the cutest pair of jeans. Now I needed a new top to go with it so I bought a really cute top. I still wasn't done yet...something was missing. So I decided to complete things with some cute panties and some new bras. I just love this casual look. So much for just going sneaker shopping. What a great day so far! Anyone else ever have a similar sneaker shopping experience?

Good for you. Isn't shopping and getting what you want a great boost?

Thanks Kim. Getting what you want and in your size is the best. My day is going great. I went out for a walk in my new attire and felt great.

I'm soooooooo jealous!!! I have not been able to buy anything for six months since I became unemployed. The budget just does not allow for such frivolities. Best I can do is go out and window shop and try on things. Its really hard to say NO to myself when I find something that fits me well and looks god on me.

Hi Sarah,

Sounds like a fantastic time. I know how much I enjoy shopping for new clothing, don't we all?

I cannot say that I have ever gone shopping for sneakers and I don't own any. My passion is for heels and I currently own almost 2 dozen pair. I also have recently bought 2 pair of flats which I discovered I needed, so that I would fit in better, when I go out shopping on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

It sounds like you're building a functional wardrobe that will work in lots of combinations.

Sarah, good for you, but usually you buy the shoes to go with the outfit. Although, there are times when a great pair of heels scream out to be bought, then you search out for the outfit to go with them.
